Another Republican Candidate To DROP OUT Of Presidential Race!?!
The Political Insider ^ | 3/3/2016

But Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) appears to be ready to drop a bombshell! With no explaination, Rubio abruptly cancelled rallies in Louisiana and Kentucky.

Now, political insiders are speculating that Rubio is ready to get out of this race and perhaps throw his support behind fellow Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

As a major Kentucky newspaper noted, the Rubio campaign isn’t giving details on why a rally was cancelled: One day after winning only one of 11 GOP Super Tuesday primaries, Marco Rubio has canceled planned appearances in Kentucky and Louisiana. Tyler Glick, a spokesman for Anne Northrup, Rubio’s campaign chairwoman in Kentucky, said the campaign hasn’t provided any more information about the cancellation. And voters in Louisiana will also not be able to see Rubio in person.

After a poor showing in the Super Tuesday primaries, Marco Rubio quietly canceled his plans for a Baton Rouge event scheduled for Friday. Individuals who signed up for tickets to see Rubio received an email Wednesday that the event was canceled. “In order to use Marco’s time as efficiently as possible before Saturday’s contests, Marco will not be making a stop in Louisiana Friday night,” the email read. Rubio originally announced he would visit the capital city on Feb. 29. The event was planned for 5:45 p.m. at North Boulevard Town Square. The cancellation happened so suddenly, the campaign is still registering people to attend the canceled rally.

Rubio, who has only won one state in the Republican primary has been the establishment candidate but has failed to gain traction in these final weeks.

The Cuban anchor baby is going to support the Cuban-American. Wow, what a team! They can combine their list of accomplishments in the senate. Well, it’s only one thing...try to provide amnesty for illegals. Luckily, thanks to Senator Sessions, they failed.

Yup. The brokered convention strategy is proceeding nicely. Keep hammering Trump from every angle and present the three other candidates as acceptable to different primary states/regions. Unburdened by having to win nationally, each candidate can focus entirely on one particular state at a time - each candidate winning just enough to deny Trump the needed delegates. No need to drop out due to lack of funds or support when your goal is not to win but merely serve the collective goal.

I dont see any way Trump can overcome this as one candidate cannot focus as much on an individual state as three separate ones can. The only hope is we the people to vote in overwhelming numbers for Trump. But each guy left has enough supporters who believe they’re actually advancing his candidacy for president rather than the brokered convention plan.

This is not a conspiracy theory - it is not even being hidden. Romney spelled it out as have other party elites publicly. And if it works, which it likely will, it sets a horrible precedent as all future races can be set up this way - the party picking their candidate behind the scenes and using multiple fake candidates that each appeal to certain states/regions so as to avoid any one candidate amassing the required delegate count.

I could see Kasich getting out - he has never been very high outside of Ohio, but Rubio?

He does not want to lose Florida. It would end the Senate gravy train. Trump is way ahead of him in Florida.

So it looks like Rubio wants to unload his open borders, globalist wackos on Cruz.

“Kasickness” is holding out for a brokered convention.

Who are the brokers?

This isn’t the old days when party bosses hand-picked and bullied delegates. There’s probably only a couple states, maybe Nevada, that have dictator party bosses. Most delegates are now elected in their own right and owe party bosses nothing.

His squeaky little voice did fine during the debate.

Rubio is pretty sick. He needs to clear up the flu or whatever he has. It seems obvious he has no chance to win the nomination, but can still play a role in a brokered convention. He has to win Florida for that to happen, so I guess that is where he campaigns the next ten days.

All day yesterday I was praying that God would take away the voices of Rubio and Cruz.

One out of two ain’t bad.

If they broker the convention, Rubio is the one they will back

If they broker the convention with Trump having the most delegates it all but guarantees a loss of president AND SENATE. They’d be ok with Hillary if they keep the senate. Losing both destroys the SCOTUS.

They MUST have someone other than Trump get to the convention with the most delegates and that’s not going to be Rubio.

I don’t think Rubio’s dropping out soon but Mitt seemed to have failed yesterday (we’ll see early next week). The next step is to get rid of Rubio and Kasich. Cruz is likely to get most of their votes. But Rubio is not getting any of Cruz’s anti-establishment vote so he’s not the one to rally around.

“His doctors may be telling him to take a rest.”..........

I think its the voters that are sick, sick of Rubio and his childish rants. He needs to go back and sell the used cars still remaining down in Florida.

I think he cancelled to put ALL of his focus on Fla. If he doesn’t win his home state, the fat lady is done singing and it’s over for him.

“He has no chance to win.”

You know what they always say....’One in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.’ Maybe Cabana boy figures he should hold on to what he has (his senate seat) rather than continue to rant and rave and lost that too. Just saying.
