But Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) appears to be ready to drop a bombshell! With no explaination, Rubio abruptly cancelled rallies in Louisiana and Kentucky.
Now, political insiders are speculating that Rubio is ready to get out of this race and perhaps throw his support behind fellow Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).
As a major Kentucky newspaper noted, the Rubio campaign isnt giving details on why a rally was cancelled: One day after winning only one of 11 GOP Super Tuesday primaries, Marco Rubio has canceled planned appearances in Kentucky and Louisiana. Tyler Glick, a spokesman for Anne Northrup, Rubios campaign chairwoman in Kentucky, said the campaign hasnt provided any more information about the cancellation. And voters in Louisiana will also not be able to see Rubio in person.
After a poor showing in the Super Tuesday primaries, Marco Rubio quietly canceled his plans for a Baton Rouge event scheduled for Friday. Individuals who signed up for tickets to see Rubio received an email Wednesday that the event was canceled. In order to use Marcos time as efficiently as possible before Saturdays contests, Marco will not be making a stop in Louisiana Friday night, the email read. Rubio originally announced he would visit the capital city on Feb. 29. The event was planned for 5:45 p.m. at North Boulevard Town Square. The cancellation happened so suddenly, the campaign is still registering people to attend the canceled rally.
Rubio, who has only won one state in the Republican primary has been the establishment candidate but has failed to gain traction in these final weeks.

no way
Marco was just holding out trying to raise his price. imo
u keep posting these BS articles, did the robot look like he was dropping out tonight?
Sure after he himself watched tonights event he may think it but this was a yesterday article.
Establishment guy and the “average typical conservative” guy walking together .....? With Romney ....Mc Cain ?
Good , nice , allright ! We have got all the picture !
But i still hope , for him , that Cruz is not such a empty tool
The Trump juggernaut hasn’t been thrown off tracks and panicked GOP leaders are at a loss on what to do.
Despite heavy fire Trump is still standing and his rivals are still 2, 3 and 4.
Time to face the music.
"You can't go Foam Again."
I don’t see him dropping out. He is now the ‘establishment’ candidate. If they broker the convention, Rubio is the one they will back, not Cruz.
I'm going to tear a rib cartilage. Foam and boogers. LOLOLOL .
He has no chance to win.
I mean in VA his strongest state, his appeal was with upscale moderate voters.
In most states, his support is around 15-16% half of what he got in VA.
Stick a fork in him; he’s done.
This matchup makes perfect sense. If the battle is epic (i.e., not aborted by slimy machinations at the RNC) it will be the perhaps final face-off of the sovereignty of the USA versus the redistribution of our wealth to the third world: Globalist Cruz versus Nationalist Patriot Trump.
Representing the top 1/10th of the 1%-ers, Cuban-Canadian Cruz, against the man with the vision to see that the ideological paradigm is now globalism versus nationalism. If we lose, conservative versus liberal won't matter any more; we'll be part of the "one world" they seek, living third world lifestyles with third-world jobs at third-world pay, while the Government Class become the oligarchs and plutocrats for centuries if not millenia.
There could not be a clearer distinction between two candidates.
The Lobbyist/Donor Class money will start pouring in to Cruz's super pacs.
A war for the future of America and of the world. Trump was right from day one, that the two biggest issues are immigration and trade. They will be our undoing if not stopped. They are woven into every other issue.
They did say after the debate tonight that Rubio was fighting a terrible flu during the entire debate and it was beating him up. His doctors may be telling him to take a rest.
You have the answer.
Could very well be. VP?
LOL
Like I said the two Cubans are attracting voters at opposite ends of the spectrum:
Cruz is pulling in very conservative and evangelical voters and Boobio’s getting affluent moderate Republicans.
Problem is you can’t win the nomination with only niche voters.
And they’re perceived to be niche candidates. Winning 2 and 3 gets you a nice pat on the back and a participation prize.
It doesn’t buy you a ticket to the White House.
Can you say "speculating"? I knew you could.
Nonsense.
and IF, Repeat IF Rubio dropped out, where those who support Rubio now go would be up to them, they aren't some ball team to be bought or sold.
Who Won? AVERAGE TIME NJ.com fox2now(st.louis) kmtv(omaha) syracuse.com Drudge Washingtontimes Trump 73.9% 66.0% 63.8% 82.0% 78.0% 79.3% 67.2% 81.0% Kasich 13.7% 20.0% 18.6% 11.0% 12.0% 13.7% 8.6% 12.0% Cruz 7.7% 7.0% 8.3% 5.0% 5.0% 4.5% 19.3% 5.0% Rubio 4.4% 7.0% 6.8% 3.0% 4.0% 2.5% 4.8% 3.0%
Trump would get most of them with the rest going to Cruz. Kasickness doesn’t benefit because he doesn’t even have a national campaign.
