Trump Admits Times Report, Says Status Of Illegals Is “Negotiable”
Legal Insurrection, All Rights Reserved. ^ | Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:30am | Jonathan Levin

For months now, Donald Trump has spouted the same line on immigration, promising to build a border wall and deport people here illegally. Last night, he admitted he would not deport the 11 million people in the United States illegally....

Trump appeared on Sean Hannity's show.... Here's the key transcript:

"We had a board meeting [at the New York Times], it was off-the-record, suddenly they leak it..." Trump said.

"They said it's negotiable on the wall," Hannity said...

"By the way it is negotiable. Things are negotiable," Trump said.

Trump was quick to add that the negotiation does not include nixing the idea altogether.

"Building it? Not negotiable."

"Would it be negotiable about the 11 million?" Hannity pressed. "Maybe let some people stay if they register in a period of time?"

"I would say this," Trump added, "we will work out some system that's fair, but we either have a country or we don't. We need a border. We need a wall."

Here's Rubio at the CNN debate last week:

before we do anything on immigration, we are going to secure the border. And, that's not just the physical border with Mexico, it's Visa overstays. That's 45 percent of the problem right there.

It also has to do -- that's why we need e-verify, and entry-exit tracking system, and so-forth. And, until that happens, we're not doing anything else. And then we'll see what the American people are willing to support";

Those are exactly the same positions - build the wall, then figure out what to do with the people already here. There is literally no daylight between the Rubio and Trump positions on immigration.

Yeah, that kind of irritated me too, but I knew what he was doing and yes, in all fairness to Limbaugh, he is a radio entertainer, as well as talk show host, and as such...he has to be somewhat unbiased. Try telling that to all of the aholes yesterday that were trashing Rush over the bizarre KKK behavior by Trump though.

New poll released today shows that Cruz and Rubio defeat Clinton in the general, but Trump loses to her.

Polls close in a few hours.

Turn out the lights...

There's a better one for the Crubio chimerists.

Didn’t forget anything.

Ted refused to go after illegals.

He said it himself.

Good grief.

"And the problem with this statement is?"

It's no different than Rubio's plan.

That links says nothing about anybody EXCEPT the NYT staff being in the meeting.

If you think otherwise, please post a quote.

Thanks in advance...

I guarantee Cruz could explain the details.
I also guarantee Trump has no idea what he means and furthermore has little to no idea how to impliment his limited ideas.

I’m pretty sure you would see that if you actually cared more about what will be done rather than who’s saying it will be done.

She’s not going to respond. Trumpsters never do when they’re called out on their blatant lies. They just move on to their next lie.

Just a short time ago on Good Morning America he said something, “I’m fully capable of changing into anything I want to be.”

For a deal maker—and that’s what he says is his best qualification—anything ANYTHING is negotiable.

Cruz is the establishment, sorry to break that to you

Cruz is nothing but lip service, but then again he is a lawyer, he never had to go a create or build something, just destroy it. That is what lawyers do

The problem with your illogic (let’s call it what it is....bullsquat).....

is that Cruz is the only one that has actually fought the establishment GOP, while all Trump does is bleat and lie and mislead.

And Trump helped the Democrats destroy us from within by donating to and supporting our enemy within. That makes Trump one of our enemy within and effectively....re: our nation’s deliberate destruction from within...

in on it and complicit.

You’re being lied to and played like a fiddle.

Yes, and oddly enough....the Trump fans have that trait in common with the rabid left. Coincidence?

Cruz is the establishment he has done nothing to destroy them. They are still here and are supporting his campaign.

Goldman Sachs is the establishment

He raises funds through the establishment

His donors are the establishment

Ted Cruz supports Marco Rubio, who is the establishment weasel

Keep telling yourself that Cruz is the “outside guy”

Remember the establishment are after Trump, not Cruz

I don’t see “stop Cruz” as the topic, well ever, just “how to stop Trump” is everywhere

Wake up and smell the reality

Trump vs Clinton. What a disaster for us and the country.

Yeah.. as if the choice between Obozo and Romney were any different.. or McCain and Obozo.

The disaster occurred quite sometime ago but you're just waking up from your long nap to offer up your pointless comments.

Next you'll be telling us that Bill & Hillary Clinton are just "misunderstood."

Welcome to the new boss, same as the old boss. You’ll see. Except Romney and McCain were RINOs. Trump isn’t conservative enough.

I read Jesse Ventura wants to enter. Why not? How about Tiny Tim or Mr Rodgers?

I don’t have time for this crap. Your lie that the establishment is after Trump, not Cruz, is just that. BS and a lie.
