I guess 35% of Republican primary voters can, probably less when you count the votes in open primaries which skew the results.
“Donald Trump Can America Get Behind His Presidential Bid?”
Depends how you define “America”. If “America” is the Illegals, then no...they will never support having to go home. If “America” is the media, then no, the media will NEVER get behind a Republican. If “America” is the GOPe, then no - they need their gravy train to feed their families.
But if “America” means AMERICANS - we’re already there, as will be shown in November.
“In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide. Regard not the particular sect or denomination of the candidate, look to his character. The scriptures teach that rulers should be men who rule in the fear of God, able men, men of truth, hating covetousness. It is to the neglect of this rule that we must ascribe the multified frauds, breaches of trust, and embezzlement of public property which tarnish the character of our country and disgrace government. When a citizen gives his vote to a man of known immorality, he abuses his civic responsibility, he sacrifices not only his interest, but that of his neighbor; he betrays the interest of his country.” Noah Webster, 1823
Liars figure and figures lie.
Trump went to the New York military academy even though he never served.
He’s a very very successful business executive.
He went to the Wharton School of Business and economics is a huge issue this election.
He is Christian and has been outspoken about Christian issues. And has been doing well in the primaries among Evangelicals.
And he’s never done drugs or even uses alcohol.
Definitely likes women and is not gay.
They better if they want to survive as a nation.
If we have to.
Ummm...NO!
But he'll get his ass handed to him by the 47% that will never vote for anyone without a "D" next to their name and the independents that can't bring themselves to vote for an obviously clueless circus clown.
Can they? Only an idiot discounts his filling stadiums versus the other candidates barely able to fill nursing homes and asks that question.
America can get behind it. Will the Republcian party leaders? That’s the billion dollar question.
I dunno, but some Cruz fans will never get over it...
Boy, should he be nominated, Trump would have three of the four most negative traits: In their 70s; Extramarital affair; and Never held office. That’s not very promising.
When Trump starts making his case to the American people, not just Republicans, his message is going to resonate. We’re not the only ones who think Washington is broken.
Trump’s ace in the hole is the fact he hasn’t designated himself a Conservative Republican.
I know that is troubling to some Conservatives, but this means that he has not alienated the reflexive person who would be very unlikely to vote for a Conservative Republican.
So we get a guy selling our ideals in his platform, and still appealing to some Leftists.
Those figures at the top of this page are going to change drastically as Trump addresses these segments of our society.
There was a time we were told he could never win the nomination. Now they’re telling us he can’t win the general election.
How often have they been right with their predictions in the last eight months?
Trump is going to mop up in the general election folks.
Nobody wants four more years of Obama. Hillary is out to lunch, and hasn’t gotten the memo.
There is no way to get me behind Trumps presidential bid. To me he is an obvious fraud and I will never go out and cast a vote him.
Interesting analysis.
“Can?” Where have you been lately?
