Trump Disavows David Duke Endorsement
The Hill ^ | Sunday, February 28, 2016 | Rebecca Savransky

Posted on 02/28/2016 10:34:00 AM PST by kristinn

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump disavowed white nationalist and former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke in a tweet Sunday.

"As I stated at the press conference on Friday regarding David Duke- I disavow."

Earlier Sunday morning, Trump avoided a question about whether he'd condemn Duke's racism.

The GOP front-runner said on CNN's "State of the Union" he didn't know anything about Duke and would need to research his connections before deciding whether he would condemn them.

"I have to look at the group. I don't know what group you're talking about," he said. "You wouldn't want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about."

Your question in as much as it might be one is a non-sequitur as the birthplace and life of Ted Cruz was well discussed before we here in Texas voted him in as Senator

Now your just a friking liar. cruz said he did not even know himself August 2013.

My husband is 78 and didn’t know who David Duke is until this morning when I told him.

And his friend Jerry Farwell is Baptist and Anglo-Saxon, This Rev. Jefferies, from 1 Baptist in Dallas all but endorsed him on Fox last night, also Anglo-Saxon protestant like Farwell, and his friend Rudy Giuliani is Catholic and of Italian ancestry and Sheriff Joe Arpaio is also Catholic and of Italian descent (as I am). And Roger Stone, who worked for Nixon and Reagan is of Hungarian and Italian ancestry (not sure still and active Catholic) who is perhaps the most anti-Bill and Clinton republican activist that I am aware of.

The reality is Trump was, as he said he was, a Businessman, who knows how this crony-capitalist system we have in place where Business people have to “legally bribe” politicians to get economic development done. Think about it, Trump is into Golf course design and there is some crazy EPA reg in place. Trump wants to do something and some politician says he Donald, donate to my PAC and I will lean on the EPA to clear up the read tape with those stupid regs so you can develop the Golf course. Trump wants to develop a hotel in a downtown City area, some excessive zoning laws in place (and I am for responsible zoning laws btw) and some politician say hey Donald, you donate to my campaign, will get through the red tape with these zoning laws, etc, etc.

Trump is what he says he is, a Business guy who donated to lots of politicians, Dems, Independents, and Republicans.

And btw, I despise Soros.

The KKK hasn’t been any credible threat on any real scale since a few years after one of their number thought it would be a good idea to set off a bomb in a church and blew four small children to salsa.

There is now NO white nationalist organization of any kind anywhere that has any political power beyond the county level. None. And actually they barely even exist except for a dwindling number of old fogies and a handful of young angry bumpkins who would have serious trouble outfighting the local SWAT team.

An endorsement by Duke thus carries about as much weight as an endorsement from the mayor of my friends’ rural hometown with a population in the four digits.

Trump is making campaign ads for the RATS, staring...himself!

He either is dim witted, or he thinks the media will still give him free TV time to explain after he gets the nomination. If he was to get nominated he will get no media time at all!

And to quote that famous American of Sicilian ancestry philosopher Frank Pentangeli talking to Michael Corleone “Your Father did business with Hyman Roth, Your Father respected Hyman Roth, but he never trusted Hyman Roth”

Maybe the Donald did business with Soros.

They’re both ultra elite manipulators. Trump only started singing the conservative songs to gain a new audience to scam. He’s not a faithful man.

A “Cruzer’ should become a word to measure a person’s level of Sleaziness. As in, He’s a Cruz 3.

A good leader is one that accepts responsibility even when he is wrong. I have yet to see any Democrat accept any responsibility for anything that they did wrong. Trump right or wrong, he’s still a crap shoot I’d be willing to gamble on, just to see a change. With Trump I see some damn good military leaders returning to their former jobs, and those perfumed princes out. (Both male and female, or what ever gender they think they are.)

Here is the deal with me. I have voted Republican starting in the 80s when I turned 18. Ronald Reagan is the last Republican that I thought was worth a damn. Period. End of discussion. Bob Dole was a decent man, got shot to hell in the Italian Campaign during WW2, came back went to work and was a statesman. I personally Liked the senior Bush but he was basically a Globalist and interventionist type Republican. They are all politicians. Ok, all of them

I know what Trump is, he is rude, abrasive, a deal maker since he was on the business side. I also know what he is not, since he is not taking a dime of money from super PACS, Wall Street, the big banking and investment firms or foreign governments, he is not beholding to anyone. Everybody else in the field on the Republican side has Super PAC money and Big Business money that can buy influence, that ordinary Americans running small businesses can’t. Trump has said point blank, I know why all these politicians take my money and I also know why I give it, when I need something done, I call in favors and they have to help me, etc.

Hillary is the worse one of the bunch with Super PACS and tons of money to the Clinton Foundation, including Wall Street speeches and other big money and foreign government money as well. She is owned by special interest.

While I think Bernie Sanders is Nuts, on the basic principle of not taking Super PAC or corporate/Wall Street Money, I respect the crazy socialist bastard on that point.

Hey, MSM...let’s just make it clear how duplicitous, and hypocritical you guys are.

Please point out to me where Democratic presidential candidates at the time...or since...completely disavowed Senator Robert Byrd? You know, the member of the KKK?

...or for that matter the absolutely racist La Raza?

...or how about Black Lives Matter and their racism?

...or Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam?

Azealia Banks

Dennis Rodman

Mike Tyson

Shawne Merriman

Terrell Owens

Francis Rice

Hershel Walker

“David” starts with a “D” and so does “Donald”. I’m not sure people are going to see that as a mere coincidence... I think Trump must be a secret KKK member or something.
