Donald Trump leads in Republican presidential rival John Kasich's home state three weeks before the Ohio primary, according to a new poll.
Trump takes 31 percent support, followed by the Ohio governor, at 26 percent; Sen. Ted Cruz Sen. Ted Cruz(Texas), at 21 percent; and Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), at 13 percent, in the Quinnipiac University poll released early Tuesday.
Retired pediatric neurosurgeon Ben Carson gets 5 percent in the poll of those who are likely to participate in the Republican primary in Ohio on March 15, while 5 percent remain undecided.
More than a third of voters, 38 percent, who named a candidate say they may change their mind before the primary.

This is a big surprise. If Trump defeats Rubio in Florida and Kasich in Ohio, he’ll probably be the nominee. Don’t be shocked if Kasich drops out before then.
Excellent. Now if Texas will wise up in the next week, then Trump will do some serious winning!!!
Oh my. Trump is beating the mailman’s son in his home state.
If Trump takes Ohio, it’s over.
Go Trump!
Only Trump has stood up against the media, China, Mexico ,illegals, Muslims (All of the enemies of America and freedom). etc. All other politicians have not stood up nor said anything against ALL of these enemies of America.
President Trump will tame China! China has been eating our lunch as China makes everything.China uses unfair trade deals against the USA. Where the factories are ,the technology is and so is the power and wealth.China knows this ,S Korea, Japan all of Asia knows this. No one understands this here in America except me and Trump!
Ted (TPA) Cruz helped push Obamatrade on us which is the worst thing ever for America:

Establishment, globalist advocates published what will go down as the most disingenuous, deceitful and outright dishonest promotional piece on behalf of the so-called fast-track trade authority that could have been written. Authored by establishment GOP Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and heretofore “conservative” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the op-ed in The Wall Street Journal is a compilation of talking points and slick dodges. It is textbook propaganda that would make the disinformation experts of the KGB blush.
The dynamic duo start by asserting that the U.S. must “strengthen the country’s bargaining positionâ by giving President Obama fast-track powers. Really? The GOP Congress thinks it is vital to our national interest to expand the powers in Obama’s hands?
I guess those women found some shoes!
Well,,,, I’ve heard John interviewed on the Mike Trivisanno Show. He comes across as a very nice guy. Not my choice, but he did some good things when he was in Congress, and he said he’d only serve so long, and kept his word. I don’t think he’s been a great governor, but I don’t dislike him. Just won’t vote for him.
Kasich needs to hang around and siphon off votes from the gay Cuban.
Yeah, but it’s only a 5 point lead. Let’s hope it builds and holds because we are a winner take all state.
Woo Hoo!
He’s my governor and actually hasn’t done a bad job here in Ohio. We have had much worse governors, that’s for sure.
Let’s see what the polls look like after Cruz comes in 3rd tonight.
This is no surprise. Kasich is very unpopular here. He only was elected because his opposition completely imploded right before the election. He was caught in a scandal involving a married Finnish blonde bimbo not his wife, a document concealment scandal and others. A complete and total crapout.
If Kasich had run against Demorat former governor, Strictland, he would have lost.
The surprise is that Kasich is so close.
Did you know that Kasich when he was younger was a conservative HOR member? When he left that gig, he worked for LEHMAN BROHTERS. He left that to run for Governor, and campaigned as a conservative. Problem is, he'd gone over to the dark side during his time at Lehman.
As governor, Kasich:
Supports Common Core
Manipulated around the conservative legislature to expand Medicaid.
Supports invaders in OH, does nothing to get them off the streets
Has starved local governments while being very generous to the financial wish lists of deep pocket donors
In a debate last year, defended the gov bailing out big banks.
He just signed the bill to defund Planned Parenthood, but nobody thinks it's anything but a cheap trick to get conservative votes.
maybe coulda been better though.Yeah. I’m in the Cleveland Akron area. He hasn’t been bad.
You know Trump will take Ohio. The trumpsters have been calling this nomination process over for at least a month.
Is the gay Cuban the Cuban-Canadian-American or the Cuban-American?
Amen!!
