Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz said Monday heâs fired campaign communications director Rick Tyler, after his top spokesman promoted a video that wrongly depicted Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as trash-talking the Bible. The Texas senator announced that he's asked for the resignation at a press conference Monday afternoon.

Perhaps I came off too strong. It just gets tiresome when a thread about another candidates surfaces and it suddenly turns into a thread about Trump with folks bringing up years old quotes or whatever. As if Trump had been collecting the taxes and making these terrible destructive policies for decades.
But I understand why. The guy on top is always the biggest target. After decades of loser leadership, sometimes I ask myself, does America really deserve this guy to lead them?
Either Ted was DUMB enough to hire him or he KNEW what he was. You decide.
No I don't have the info to decide and neither do you. You believe only what you want. Like a lib.
Listened to the first of your so cited “lies”, however Trump has always been in support of single payer on order of Hillarycare and has supported the Clintons liberally in the past. I’m assuming much the same for the other citings. You may ride the Trump train if you wish, your choice, but IMO he is nothing but hot air and his present “stands” are a contradiction to his past, i.e. UNtrustworthy. And IMO he will freely and willfully contradict his current “stands” if he is president, following whatever it takes for appeal, not principle. He will NEVER be a man that stands alone for conservative principles come what may. Trump’s not likely to change in these character flaws in the future, I do not see a principled man with presidential qualifications. AND his potty mouth is tiresome and reflects a lack of depth of character. Truth be told, Trump will be a “KING” unto himself rather than president of the people, after the likes of Andrew Jackson “ole Hickory” the crony master and as stiff-headed as that old tree as well.
The first was about abortion, which Trump has always hated.
The first one was also about partial birth abortion - which Trump has specifically supported banning since 2000. That’s sixteen years.
These are lies of omission: “Also known as a continuing misrepresentation, a lie by omission occurs when an important fact is left out in order to foster a misconception. Lying by omission includes failures to correct pre-existing misconceptions.”
Talk radio said very good things about Rick Tyler and assume he was tricked. Regardless, maybe the Establishment knew how to push his buttons and planted him as an unwitting dupe?
That is one thing I’ve been concerned about regarding Cruz. The Establishment Repubs are dangerous and cunning. It takes someone unique to tackle them.
The Cruz campaign has been managed in a way that troubles me, and his supporters deserve better.
Remember when Cruz said, “I don’t have insurance.”
No health insurance? Very dramatic.
The next day, “Uh, yes, I do have insurance.”
Who talked him into that?
Or the mock swearing in next to Beck. What kind of campaign manager fails to talk him out of that?
REALITY CHECK This is a pattern w/ Cruz---going back to his run for the Senate. So typical of the narcissistic personality....the ability to engage others in your activities and the sudden but inevitable departure by a once-loyal associate.
Cruz/s verbal fluency borders on glibness. He/s also arrogant and he never fails to grab the opportunity to exploit situations to make himself look good. .
Notice that he/s obsessively competitive, with a drive toward perfection. He has this obsessive need to always be right, to create a favorable impression on others...... and, above all..... he has to win.
Even worse, he cheats sometimes, and he lies. Or rather, he glibly "rationalizes" a sticky situation to make it look different to others than it really is.
His most formidable weapon: a wealth of words that mesmerizes others. He/s a talented and intimidating salesman.
All of his educators say Cruz was academically gifted. He was not only the brightest student they had ever seen, but he was mature and poised w/ a compelling inner calmness.
A perfect description of the traits of a psychopath.
