I am for Cruz but at this time crushing the GOPe is job#1 ,, Donald will be a delegator ,, I just hope he picks someone like Cruz for VP or nominates constructionists for the USSC.
Susan Page in the video: “No Republican candidate who has won both New Hampshire and South Carolina has failed to win the nomination.”
The last presidential candidate (excluding incumbents) that won NH and SC this extensively was Ronald Reagan.
Time for a moratorium on Trump-bashing topics, particularly the ones that have been regurgitated a number of times. Actually, it's well past time, but we don't have a time machine.
(1)If Trump fails to get enough delegates, he will select a rival who will put him over the top.
(2)If he has enough delegates but feels he needs to unite the party, he will select someone as a bow to the party.
(3)If he has the delegates and the party seems united enough, he will select someone who will help him attract the most votes in the General Election.
(4)If he is confident about winning the General, he will select someone to actually help him govern.
JMHO.;-)
You are calling down the hordes on you for including RR in any comment concerning DT.
I’m certainly not starting the celebration yet.
That fine but they can’t refute it. It is fact.
And added, 2 went on to win the general election.
His sister was appointed by Reagan and had an identicle record to Sam Alito who she spoke for when he was nominated to the SC. He does not mention Alito because he is still a close personal friend of the family.
His favorite jurists when asked last month were Scalia and Thomas.
The case that the CRUZ people keep mentioning (abortion) was voted on shortly after the SC had decided an identicle case from Nebraska. Both she and Alito delayed the vote until the SCOTUS made their decision. And then voted to concur with the higher courts decision.
Mr CRUZ and his supporters are either ignorant of the truth or are purposely lying about Barry’s record
Now the Donald MUST get precise, polite, truly populist, aggrssively attack socialists, progressives Marxists and Facists as control freaks. He MUST attack gope, including corporatists as self centered haves who will give middle class’s jobs, money and country away with immigration outsourcing and bad trade deals. GO DONALD!
From your keyboard to all the Cruzinistas eyes!
TRUMP has no need for Cruz. TRUMP has already smoked Cruz in the South, and with Evangelicals, the only region and group Cruz pinned his tail on. So, what does Cruz bring him that he hasn’t already taken?
The “need” for a pol on his ticket is even questionable. TRUMP is doing just fine everywhere, and leading in every region already, in every category; terrorism, economy, evangelicals, Republicans and lots of fed up crossovers.
If he just must have a pol’, I would hope for Jeff Sessions, who is not cravenly and overtly ambitious like the Cruz and Rubio types, but keeps his head down, out of the spotlight, just doing the workhorse work, and the research.
TRUMP may name another outsider to his ticket, we just don’t know. He may need someone with strategic foreign/military experience, we don’t know.
He may want Carl Ichon on the ticket to restore our economy, which in itself solves a lot of other existing problems in America.
Just sayin’, not complainin’.
The one difference is this year the republican party is actively trying to sabotage their own frontrunner. That was a great analysis by worried panel:)
“Donald will be a delegator ,, I just hope he picks someone like Cruz for VP or nominates constructionists for the USSC”
VP would be a waste. I’d rather see Cruz on the SCOTUS for life then as Pres or Veep for 4-8Yrs!
