February/March primary states:
Romney won, could go to Trump: Nevada Alaska Massachusetts Vermont Maine Hawaii Idaho(I guess?) Michigan Washington,D.C. Florida Illinois NorthernMarianaIslands Arizona
Santorum won, could go to Cruz: Alabama Minnesota Oklahoma Tennessee Kansas Louisiana Mississippi Missouri
Gingrich won, could go to Cruz: Georgia
Romney won, could go to Rubio: PuertoRico
Texas, Arkansas and Kentucky were late May votes last time so they went for Romney, but seem like solid Cruz states.
Virginia only had Romney and Paul on the ballot but it had a huge protest vote against Romney through Paul. North Carolina was also a late Romney state last time so hard to to say where it goes, but perhaps with momentum in the rest of the South Cruz could pick it up. Ohio was a dead heat last time with a tiny Romney victory, but Gingrich also did well there, so I'd say that's a Cruz-leaning state. Utah was a solid Romney state because Mormons, but polling seems to show Cruz on top there now.

No, Trump is triumphant. That is all anyone needs to know, citizen!

Cruz should drop out and allow his supporters to unite behind Donald Trump
Cruz can stay in the senate a couple terms, help pass Donald’s conservative and pro American agenda
He can take another stab at it in 2024, he is still a young guy (in his 40’s I believe)

Funny how Cruz was boasting about how the evangelicals were going to help him win big
Funny too how all this comes out AFTER Trump wins

Forget Cruz. He's done. This is between Rubio and Trump now. If Kasich drops before Super Tuesday, Rubio will be the nominee and, unless these rumors that he was a homosexual romper are true, the next president.
To: JediJones
"he got a lower vote total in SC than Gingrich got and a much lower percentage." Yeah CNN made the same point which was immediately tamped down with reality.

Not trying to be mean to you at all, but this IMO is a state Ted was supposed to do well in. It is in the South and Is a heavily Christian state.
The problem is, Cruz is not projecting good anywhere.
Nationally his numbers a way under Trump’s. At the current time I’m not sure he can win Texas. If I’m wrong say so, but I’ve seen some troubling things.
Where do you see Ted starting to win states?
I don’t know of one.

Fox News has been spinning the false narrative that South Carolina was "tailor-made" for Ted Cruz and saying "if he can't win there, where else can he win?" This is a COMPLETELY MADE-UP FALSE NARRATIVE. Unless, of course - it's a COMPLETELY TRUE NARRATIVE.

LOL!
Yeah okay...( sarcasm off). You need to quit looking back to strategize.
Trump leads in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, New York, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma, Colorado and Nevada.
To: JediJones
The only consolation I can see here for Ted is that SC is an open primary state, and I think he would have done a lot better if it had been closed instead.
