Dole McCain and Romney won their nominations because the conservative vote was split and they got all the RINO and Democrat crossover votes.
They lost and Trump will lose without conservative support in November so the ugly name calling needs to be limited.

He'll do that just by winning; he gets all the at-large delegates. After that it gets a bit dicier but at the end of the day he should have 45 or more of the 50 delegates.

And if I recall correctly Newt said his nomination was almost a certainty. And he didn't win a primary after that.
That’s not true. Obama got 70 million voters twice, so if you think that winning is a sign of greatness, then you are an obama bot AND a Trump bot...not that there’s nearly as much difference as you think....
