Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Friday challenged the premise of Donald Trump's promise to "make America great again," and asked if Trump knows how America ever became great in his closing pitch to South Carolinians.
Speaking in Myrtle Beach, Cruz launched into an extended diatribe about what he perceived as Trump's lackluster position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He followed it up with a list of Cruz's campaign promises and a stinging rebuke of Trump's singular message.
"We will see the economy explode, small businesses grow, young people coming out of school with three, four, five job opportunities. Wages going up. You know what? We're going to be winning so much we'll get tired of winning," Cruz said, mimicking Trump's message. "It's easy to say let's Make America Great Again, you can even print that on a baseball cap. The question to ask is, do you understand what made America great in the first place?"

It’s disgusting as I happen to be a naturalized LEGAL citizen who followed all the rules to become part of this great nation, pay taxes and vote conservative. Far more conservative than the average person who was born here.
I have zero loyalty to Canada. Although many of my relatives still live there, I haven’t been to Canada since the eighties.
The candidates I’d like to see drop out in descending lib order are: Jeb, Rubio, Kasich and most particularly HILL and BERN. Carson is a nice man and would do with a cabinet post.

Free Republic is like Jim’s home. We’ve been invited over to his place for a little get-together. Some of the guests are slandering one of his friends, talking trash about him every occasion they get. After some time, this trash talk gets tiring. And so Jim, as the host, may step in and ask the guests to stop piling onto his friend.
That’s simply what I’m asking for: that Jim step in and ask those who are slandering his “friend,” Ted Cruz, to cut back and be more civil. After all, it is his home, and his party.

No one is claiming that Cruz is not a very good lawyer. However being a good lawyer does not translate into being a good leader. Cruz has zero leadership skills, and out side of a courtroom zero accomplishments. Me too Ted is also running a very nasty and negative campaign. Plus going by original intent he is not eligible to serve as POTUS
Trump says he's not afraid to blur reality to utilize leverage. He a knowleges that he withheld information he had in order to allow them to believe some he knew was inaccurate. Textbook lie of ommision. And he is bragging about it.
Yes, Jim Robinson supports Trump. But his FIRST choice is TED CRUZ.

Trump has been on both sides of many positions. Pointing that out is not a lie of omission. It is pointing out he was for the other side of the issue.
Trump does not immune himself from criticism by flip flopping on issues and crying lie of omission when called on the old position.
But with my example, Trump does acknowledge he will commit a lie of omission. That example was not a flip flop by Holiday Inn or Trump. He simply withheld data during a deal negotiation. It’s part of his art of the deal.
He is currently negotiating a deal for your vote - do you believe he has suspended his tactics that got him this far?
