Donald Trump is running riot in the GOP china shop and gleefully tearing the place up.

Consider the strength of Trump’s position: If he wins South Carolina by a big margin, he goes into Nevada with momentum, and the latest poll there has him leading by 26 points and pushing 50 percent. If he enters Super Tuesday a week later having won three out of the past three states — and with Cruz diminished by a South Carolina loss and Rubio having won nowhere — he could easily win, say, 10 contests that day.

It might still be possible to beat Trump at that point if the field is narrowed (states don’t become winner-take-all until March 15), but doing so would involve wrestling to the ground a candidate who will have cut a formidable swath through the first month of the nomination battle.

Even now, it's hard to imagine a happy outcome for the party from the three likeliest scenarios:

How many illegal has he hired? Find me the link other than the Washington Post link that them was used as a source for other internet musings.

The lesser of two evils has its limits. At some point when either will burn your house down the degree of burnt down becomes less important.

I have simple, Biblical criteria for leadership/elections:

• Ability
• Fears God
• Loves Truth
• Hates Covetousness

By my rekoning, Cruz meets those criteria in spades and Trump not at all. Even if Cruz did not exist, I could not support Trump. I will never again choose the lesser of two evils and I'm not so sure that Trump is the lesser of anything.

God could certainly use Trump to save America and nobody would be more surprised and pleased than me. But by all indications, severe judgement is ahead no matter who wins.

Germany has not acted as stupidly as it has now in for about 10 years. The last time was when Schroeder cut the pipeline deal with Russia.

Trump’s only fruit is his own promotion. Through business, reality TV, etc.

So yes, there should be more to run and be elected President. There is much more involved than running a business.

CLUE: They’ve been pushing it full speed for over 7 years, and several of the contenders in this primary contest have been in DC, right in the very halls where it’s happening, but it has only getting worse.

We need an outsider with cohones and a spine to have at least a prayer of turning it around. Is there some risk with Trump? Of course. But all the rest of those politicians are a worse risk.

Even my second and only other choice, Cruz, is a bigger risk. He sez that he was the only one in DC who stood against this, that, and the other while in the Senate. Did he WIN any of those battles? NO. We need a non-politician who has no strings on him.
