I was just listening to last night’s Levin show, and he was theorizing that Trump is Ross Perot II, running in the Republican primary.

This explains his supporters’ indifference to conservative ideology.

The populism.

Trump’s flirting with a third party run.

His drawing significant Democrap support.

His topping out at 40%.

His losing to Cruz head-to-head, by 16 points.

It’s smart. Choose a party to run in. 2010 he stopped donating to Democraps.

Win a plurality in the primary.

Then go head-to-head with the weaker candidate, which this year would be the Democrap nominee.

Trump knows how to look after Trump.

You really need to grow up, trying to excuse your own moronic post, by accusing others is acting like a child. What in your life have you done that make’s you think you can post such drivel?

What a sad little thing you are.

What is it that you think I had to do in my life to be covered by the First Amendment?

My post wasn’t moronic. I can understand how it might look to one.

You think Ted Cruz looks great as a leader when he’s not in the presence of one.

Great to most of us involves character. Superior in character is one definition of great. Character is their reputation. Their repute. It requires a history, in this case, Trump's history is one of being a liberal. Cruz has character most of us as respectrul, Trump not so much.

‘Cruz will never be anything more than a social outcast Senator’.

Which is still more than you will ever be.

You see perfection Ted. I do not. I see a very problematic individual.

Vote for him all you like. I won’t be joining you.

No, actually it is less than I will be.

If he were able to be a force for good in the Senate, you’re argument would hold water.

Trump’s platform made it possible for me not to move to another pasture. You still can’t grasp that. That’s okay with me.

Vote for Ted a thousand times. I don’t care. Not enough people will be doing it to matter.

Personal prestige? I think the nation needs a proven leader who has actually accomplished something with his life.

A junior Senator isn’t a great accomplishment, unless you think Obama accomplished something great doing it. I don’t.

Ted has had smatterings of bright spots in his life.

Every morning when Donald Trump gets up, over 22,500 other people are also getting up, in homes Donald Trump helped them purchase/lease/rent by employing them. Over 22,500 families are directly impacted by Donald Trump each day.

If Trump hadn’t done anything more than that, it would be something Ted Cruz will never accomplish.

Trump is a leader, and Cruz is a pretender.

Nah....you don’t need to watch...just make certain you and every other SC voter, casts their vote for Donald John Trump on Saturday, February 20th in the GOP Primary. This socialist Pope was smoking & puffing too much Mexican weed!!!

What a sad excuse for a Pope he is!!! I guess it’s the impact of all those NAZI & FACIST German & Italians, he grew up with in Argentina!!! My faith in my Roman Catholic Church is fading fast, with every word this Pope utters!!! Sad Day and times for Roman Catholics.

More Bull. I see Ted as what he is, and it is not perfection whatsoever.

A friend of mine on FB wrote something I think fits in here quite nicely. It was on the subject of "the lesser of two evils". Because if we are being honest, the only perfect candidate would be ourselves.

____________________________

Whenever election time rolls around and the candidates are less than perfect (which is every time), there is a debate between those who refuse to support the "lesser of two evils" and those who insist that we must to prevent the greater evil. Here's my take.

The problem isn't necessarily voting for the "lesser evil," per se. In any dichotomous choice, there will always be two choices that can be presented as a greater and lesser evil, but that doesn't mean that both are evil or we can never choose either. The question is whether we are actually supporting evil or merely getting less good than some ideal.

In a choice between Jesus and the Apostle Paul for your pastor, would it be accurate to describe Jesus as the lesser of two evils just because he's the better option? Clearly not. Yet some take every choice between two options, label it a choice between evils and refuse to choose either. This is faulty reasoning.

On the other hand, in a choice between Hitler and Stalin, both are so evil that you must choose neither. It's not because you can't choose the "lesser evil" but because you cannot support evil.

We must be careful not to let an unattainable ideal become the enemy of the real good we can achieve now. Imperfection and flaws don't necessarily constitute evil that we can't support. If we refuse to support anyone unless we get everything we want, we are contributing to the greater evil by refusing to stand against it where we have a chance of stopping it.

But on the other hand, whoever we support must have some redeeming quality and not be of such horrible moral character that we would contributing to evil in supporting him, even if he is less evil than the alternative. There has to be some minimum standard in place, not merely that we will support anyone as long as the alternative is worse. Sometimes you have to take a stand even when the odds are against you because to do otherwise is to collude with evil. Wisdom is knowing where to draw the line.

I see Ted too far down in the polls to be much of a threat. Especially after Sat night and Tues. :-)

You folks keep talking among yourselves and thinking you’re see it clearly and the majority of folks don’t.

What part of others see this differently, and they have decent reasons why, do you not quite grasp?

One third of the people who have decided on Trump or Cruz, have decided to join you in your support for Cruz. Two thirds went for Trump.

Is it because people hate good values and want a Leftist? Well, yes, that’s just what you think.

It still hasn’t dawned on you that Trump’s platform is Conservative.

So go ahead and get upset, we’re not joining you.
