You can rationalize all you want, but that’s how they took it. It may sound sexist, but appealing to a female using male logic just doesn’t work. Now they won’t vote for Hillary or Sanders, but they also won’t vote for Trump. I also know that their extended circle of friends hold the same attitude.

Look, demographic studies are showing that Trump is getting female voters. So leave the family members be. I’m sorry they feel that way, but that’s up to them.

The TDS is so feverish that I don’t remember any other previous election crapfests to be this insane. Am I just not remembering right?

(I haven’t been on FR much for about a year but I’m slinking back.)

You can usually fit the MSNBC viewers into a Holiday Inn conference room. If Trump drew 1.3 million to MSNBC, that’s pretty huge.

Never felt like the smartest person in the room unless I am in a room full of Trump supporters.

You are spot on KansasGirl. Trump thrives on destroying anyone that does not agree with him. He spends his time either suing someone, thinking about suing someone or being sued. Maybe he will sue MSNBC for his poor ratings

I want you here. Don’t be discouraged.

In a way, this is a healthy robust discussion. I know it doesn’t look like it, but humans are emotional and get angry. They like to think they are right, and so they assert their beliefs.

That’s something we believe in, no matter how painful it is.

So look at it that way, and simply observe. Smile at some of the insanity. In time this too shall pass.

Hang in there...

Thank you. The insanity doesn’t discourage me, I just don’t have time to rebut them all as my obsessiveness tries to get me to do! Glad you’re still here and kicking (butt) as needed.

I’d like to put a new tagline for the duration, but I don’t think it will fit.

Rep. John A. Bingham,In the United States House on March 9, 1866 commenting upon Section 1992 of the Civil Rights Act, was “simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.”

I know what you mean. I find myself having to use some common sense too. Can’t respond to all of it.

So I respond to some of it.

Take care.

Cruz is a lot more likable than Trump and Rubio.

What being family members has to do with anything I don't know, they're were reliable conservative voters in past elections.

Also never said that Trump wasn't getting female voters, but what is the percentage?

You will be a poor advocate for Trump in the General, if you think people will just flock to his banner because he won.

If I don't vote for him in the General, I can at least say he didn't want or need my vote. It was because he had it in the bag.

First of all, your family members view are what you have described them to be. I don’t know them.

I can tell you that demographics observers state that Trump is doing well in all demographics, age, gender, race, and party... at least that was true in New Hampshire. And despite comments to the contrary, New Hampshire’s demographics seem to mirror those of other states upcoming.

I think Trump will continue to attract people across demographic lines. He has been for a while, and there’s no reason to think otherwise.

I think I’ve related this to you before. If you choose to vote for someone else, that is your right and I support it.
