MARFA, Texas -- United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's heart stopped beating during his sleep, Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara told WFAA on Sunday.
Guevara officially pronounced him dead at 1:52 p.m. on Saturday. She will be the local official who signs his death certificate.
Hours earlier, the county judge told WFAA that myocardial infarction -- or a heart attack -- would likely be the cause of death listed. Guevara later said she would confer with the Justice's personal physician on what specifically to show as the cause of death....

Believe it or not, they did list cause of death as old age in years one by.
That happened over the phone. There’s not a big population around there,
If he was suffocated there would still be urine and feces all over cause that’s what people do in those situations.
Dying can be a dirty business, but there are a few possible explanations for the lack of soiled bedsheets. There are undergarments for incontinence, he was 79 years old, that’s one possibility. Do you think his body wasn’t on the bed? I don’t know what you’re getting at.
It was “ruled natural causes” by a person who hadn’t even seen the body.
I am not getting at anything other than the sheets are really clean for being underneath a dead body.
I don’t know what that means. But you have a possible explanation with the undergarment aspect.
Life expectancy at birth:
total population: 79.68 years
male: 77.32 years
female: 81.97 years (2015 est.)
From what I read, that’s what happened over the phone as both JPs weren’t in the vicinity.
If Justice Scalia died of a heart attack, it would have been painful. If, on the other hand, he died from congestive heart failure, it would have been a virtually pain-free death. Congestive failure can be induced and takes hours to manifest.
When finding dead folks with pillows over their heads, if this is the case, would usually rate an autopsy and closer look.
Oh the stories I could tell. I don’t know where you live, but living in that part of west Texas is a whole different story.

cue the slide guitar..
It’s bad enough that Scalia died..but then add to it that Congress is in recess..and he was found with a pillow on his head..and he was pronounced dead over the phone is west Texas where the Judge said he had a heart attack and then recanted...wild wild wild political season.
Drudge has an update saying it wasn’t a heart attack but “natural causes”.
It says the resort was famous for hunts and he loved to hunt. Which raises the question...Where was Dick Cheney?
