'I have at least 20 Muslim friends', says Donald Trump, but can't name them

..... The Republican presidential candidate has repeatedly said that "Muslims love him" despite his provocative policies, but has so far failed to name any single individual Muslim supporter.
Asked by the Telegraph to elaborate, Mr Trump again ducked the question responding: "Oh, I could give you about 20 of them."...
Donald Trump Junior, Mr Trump's son, was also unable to tell the Telegraph who his father's Muslim friends were, saying only that they had "completed a lot of business deals" in the Middle East.

LOL, now there’s a list of whos who!
The hate is strong with this one and I either pass on the thread knowing it’s filled with hate - or I skim the comments because I find some of them hilarious!
Oh boy, every day a new level of hate pops up - it honestly has to be he** living like that.

Clever - I wouldn’t spend a moment bothering to guide you.

Just a gentle reminder, I am not your enemy.

Did you see my posts #162 & #164?
CW posts on average 3-4 TrumpBash articles DAILY. I've noticed the posts, but I didn't realize it was so many.
I went back three weeks, so far.
About 25-30 per week.
Amazing. We wonder why the level of rancor on the site is so high.

So you’d like less information rather than more information on candidates who are running for the highest office in the land?
Do you not trust people to filter and process the information and make up their own minds?
Do you prefer censoring content that favors or disfavors one candidate over another?
I’ll read everything I can about a candidate before making up my mind and I appreciate people like CW and others who support different candidates posting reports about them all.
I’ll read them, cross check, analyze them, and think about them. Then I’ll make up my mind.
You’re free to post 100 articles a day about the candidate you favor, if you want. Why don’t you?

You're "arguing" with a CruzPostBot. It doesn't give a rip about your opinion.
The Bot posts 3-4 TrumpBash/CruzBoost articles a DAY.
That's a very difficult pace to keep up, unless there are "other incentives" besides simple motivation.
This is the batch of articles from January 23 through February 1. The link I posted to you in the other thread (post #162) was from February 1 to February 8 - same pattern:

CRUZ HITS TRUMP ON HEALTH CARE - AND HE'S KIND OF RIGHT - Locked in a close battle in Iowa, Ted Cruz is turning to health care in an attempt to separate himself from rival Donald Trump. A brutal ad airing in Iowa links "HillaryCare" and "ObamaCare" with "TrumpCare" - and uses Trump's own words against him. "Everybody's got to be covered, this is an un-Republican thing for me to say," the ad quotes Trump saying on 60 Minutes last fall. "[And] the government's gonna pay for it." Cruz pushed this message further on several Sunday shows. "A vote for...

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump raised $13.6 million in the fourth fundraising quarter, according to the campaign's filing with the Federal Election Commission. Trump, who often boasts about that he is self-funding his campaign, loaned his campaign $10.8 million, leaving his operation with nearly $7 million in cash-on-hand. The campaign reported that it spent nearly $7 million during the fourth quarter alone. It raised $2.6 million beyond Trump's loan. Most came from small dollar donations. The campaign owes $12.6 million to Trump himself. The filing shows that the Trump campaign spent nearly $500,000 on hats, primarily on the red caps...

AMES, Iowa - Rep. Steve King , an Iowa Republican and Ted Cruz supporter, says Donald Trump bought his endorsements. Trump recently received high profile endorsements from Maricopa County Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, and Liberty University president Jerry Falwell, Jr. King reiterated his statement about the endorsements to the Daily Caller on Saturday during a Cruz rally at the Gateway Hotel and stressed that he "knows things." "He has, from a regular person's perspective, unlimited resources and he's willing to use whatever access he has in order to get the endorsements that he wants," King...

Sen. Ted Cruz on Sunday accused front-runner Donald Trump of owing $480 million, noting "it could be billions." Appearing on "Fox News Sunday" the Texas senator told host Chris Wallace that his own loans to run for senate were disclosed and also accused Trump of owing millions. "If you look at his financial disclosure, he owes at least $480 million dollars right now, and it could be billions," Cruz told Wallace. "He knows this loan story is completely nonsense," Cruz said. "It's also the height of hutzpah - for someone who owes hundreds of millions of dollars if not billions...

Republican front-runner Donald Trump has the highest unfavorable ratings of any presidential candidate in either party in the 2016 field, a Gallup poll released Saturday found. Sixty percent of those surveyed gave the business mogul unfavorable ratings, while a third said they viewed him favorably, for a net favorability rating of -27. Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Jeb Bush are tied for second-lowest net favorability ratings with -10 each. Among other Republican candidates, Bush's 45 percent unfavorable rating is the next-worst after Trump. Following him are Chris Christie at 38 percent, Ted Cruz at 37 percent, Marco Rubio at 33...

Of all the many things said about Donald Trump, what was said by Roger Ailes, head of the Fox News Channel, said it all in just two words: "Grow up!" It is amazing how many people have been oblivious to this middle-aged man's spoiled brat behavior, his childish boastfulness about things he says he is going to do, and his petulant response to every criticism with ad hominem replies. He has boasted that his followers would stick by him even if he committed murder. But is that something to boast about? Is it not an insult to his followers, if...

Do you disagree with Liberty University's president's decision to endorse Donald Trump for president? You could get blocked on Twitter if you tweet your dissatisfaction with the endorsement. Tyler McNally, a Liberty University student (and someone I've followed for a few years), tweeted a screenshot Friday afternoon showing Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. blocking him on his Twitter account. pic.twitter.com/TnQ6uXJtiM - Tyler McNally (@Tyler_McNally) January 29, 2016 "My school president blocked me. AMA" McNally wrote. ("AMA" is an acronym for "Ask Me Anything," a joke referencing a section of Reddit where users ask questions to celebrities or those with...

A new ad that brutally exposes Donald Trump's hypocrisy vis-a-vis illegal immigration did not come from any of his current opponents, but rather Our Principles PAC, an anti-Trump group led by former Mitt Romney aide Katie Packer. The ad opens by asserting that the reason Trump is skipping Thursday"s GOP debate is "Trump can't handle tough questions, like why he'd let millions of illegal immigrants stay in America and even supports a pathway to citizenship." The ad then shows Trump addressing a Chicago audience last June, sounding as if he endorsed giving illegal immigrants a path to citizenship. Trump lectured,...

The Tea Party movement began as a response to federal bailouts of Wall Street and auto makers in 2008 and 2009. These unprecedented government interventions in the economy padded the wallets of special interests by privatizing profits and socializing losses. Where was Donald Trump on this? As it happens, he appeared on television more than once to discuss what was happening. And when he did, he came in favor of the bailouts that soured conservative voters, especially Tea Partiers, on both George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Of the auto companies, which were failing because of years of union intransigence...

Trump's standard line when he is about to storm out of a media event because he doesn't like how it covers him is that he is going to go host an event to raise money for veterans. Thus it was no surprise when he announced that he would be skipping the FoxNews event to hold a separate event to raise money for.... well, "veterans," generally. Of course, Trump did not name a specific charity so that his feet might be held to the fire on this, just "veterans," generally. Well, there are two small problems. The main veterans group that...

"....The Washington Examiner's Byron York reports on the burgeoning Kaelism among Republican poobahs who were gathered at Saturday's First in the Nation Town Hall in Nashua. "Most of the politicos in Nashua didn't deny that the polls are what they are," York writes. "They just explained that they haven't personally encountered evidence that the Trump-dominated polls are accurate." As one "very well-connected state Republican" says, "I don't see it....I don't feel it. I don't hear it, and I spend part of every day with Republican voters." Former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu and his wife, after racking their brains to...

BLOOMFIELD, Iowa - James and Brooks Schooley are raising a young family in this tiny Iowa community. They support Ted Cruz and brought their kids to an old church near the Bloomfield town square to hear the candidate, along with Iowa Rep. Steve King and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry. The Schooleys like Cruz's faith and his fealty to the Constitution. But their choice is also shaped by their wariness of the Republican front-runner, Donald Trump. "He's not principled," James Schooley told me, referring to Trump. "He just goes by emotion." "I feel like he doesn't stick to the Constitution...

Donald Trump wasted no time Wednesday morning fanning the flames of his newly reignited feud with Fox News star Megyn Kelly. "I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct," the Republican presidential front-runner said in an early morning tweet. "Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!" Trump has taken issue with Kelly since the two faced off in last summer's Fox News debate - the first Republican debate of the 2016 election cycle. Trump's last throw down with "The Kelly File" host was similarly punctuated by the b-word [Aug 24, 2015]....

[SNIP] UPDATE: Now more of the story is coming out. We can see what provoked Roger Ailes. In a more complete statement issued last night, Fox erred again in editorializing, "We're not sure how Iowans are going to feel about him walking away from them at the last minute...." Rather than stick to the facts, Fox then argued for journalistic integrity, a reasonable point, but more of concern to insiders than to the masses. It's one thing for Trump to say he'll pull out and Fox ratings will be hurt. It's quite another to carry a vendetta and threaten the...

<p>WASHINGTON - Donald Trump on Sunday admitted he considered becoming George H.W. Bush's running mate, but denied it was ever his idea.</p> <p>The potential Bush-Trump ticket was first revealed in a new biography by historian Jon Meacham, who writes in "Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush" that the 41st president considered the idea "strange and unbelievable."</p>

The central question for conservatives, on these and other issues, is whether Trump truly experienced radical conversions on issues they care about, or whether he has just learned to say the right things when he needs conservatives' votes. Even on his signature issue of immigration, Trump faulted Mitt Romney for being too tough as recently as 2012. In 2013, he told a group of immigration activists that he supported giving DREAMers a path to citizenship, and was shocked that they didn't have one already. Only now, running for president, has he sung a different tune.Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed...

What is Donald Trump up to now? Just when you thought the Republican presidential race couldn't get any stranger, the unconventional billionaire candidate pulled out of Thursday night's GOP debate, sponsored by Fox News, the field's final meeting before the Iowa caucus. Nobody toys with Trump, his campaign declared in a statement, not even Roger Ailes: "Mr. Trump doesn't play games." "Whereas he has always been a job creator and not a debater, he nevertheless truly enjoys the debating process â and it has been very good for him, both in polls and popularity," the Trump campaign missive continued. But...

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said that Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was similar to an establishment Republican compromiser after the real estate mogul pledged earlier to work closely with Democratic leaders in Congress. "You might as well vote for Jeb Bush," Levin said. "I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great." In an interview Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Trump said, "I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem. Reid will...

Donald Trump has defended Vladimir Putin after a British public inquiry found the Russian president "probably" sanctioned the assassination of Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko in London. Mr Trump waded into the case saying he had seen "no evidence" of Mr Putin's involvement, adding: "They say a lot of things about me that are untrue too." The front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination has previously said he felt a "great honour" when Mr Putin praised him as an "absolute leader". .. But Mr Trump told Fox Business: "Have they found him (Mr Putin) guilty? I don't think they've found him guilty....

A group of national and Iowa-based leaders of anti-abortion groups are urging voters to support "anyone but Trump." The 10 leaders, including Jenifer Bowen, executive director of Iowa Right to Life, and Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List, wrote a letter to Iowa voters ahead of Monday's caucuses, warning against Donald Trump, one of the leading candidates. "On the issue of defending unborn children and protecting women from the violence of abortion, Mr. Trump cannot be trusted and there is, thankfully, an abundance of alternative candidates with proven records of pro-life leadership whom pro-life voters can support," the...

FENNIMORE (WKOW) -- Despite polls showing billionaire businessman Donald Trump leading the Republican presidential race in Iowa, Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin) feels Sen. Ted Cruz (R- Texas) has an edge in the Hawkeye State. Iowa voters will caucus next Monday night in a race seen as pivotal to Sen. Cruz's chances for the GOP nomination. In past month, Trump has gone from trailing Sen. Cruz to leading him by six points in an average of recent polls. But Gov. Walker agrees with many experts who believe Cruz still has an advantage, because of the ground game he's set up in Iowa...

I've seen a photo copy posted on FR threads that purports to prove that Donald Trump has been a Republican since 1980. "Smoking Gun" has reported that Trump has often changed parties citing the same source - New York City Board of Elections. Rick Perry just endorsed Ted Cruz and I posted that news in a thread this morning. It's gotten over 100 comments. On it I posted Rick Perry's comment in defense of Ted Cruz about the "New York Values" dust-up [Comment #84 at the link above]. [Rick Perry: "...."Mr. Trump took umbrage by Ted Cruz talking about New York values, and, you know, became very serious about - as we all were - what happened on September the 11th of 2001," he said. "We were all New Yorkers that day - don't get confused with that, but you know, I would...

DES MOINES - If nothing else, Donald Trump certainly didn't toe the company line or kowtow to the citizens of Pella, Iowa, while touting his support for eminent domain during his second campaign stop in the Hawkeye State on Saturday. With only eight days until voting, the Republican Party front-runner continued to back eminent domain before a crowd interspersed with locals from Pella and Oskaloosa as the two cities continue to push to build a regional airport next to Highway 163 using the practice. Twice, Trump called the practice a "positive thing" while talking up the necessity of its use....
