Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that Donald Trump lost the Iowa caucus because his criticism of Ted Cruz made him sound "like a liberal Democrat."
"I don't think Trump skipping the debate had a thing to do with what happened last night," began Limbaugh. "This is a Republican primary. It's Iowa. Conservatives win in Iowa."
"Donald Trump, I don't know if you forgot - one thing that everyone remembers - he went out and tried to criticize Ted Cruz," explained the talk-show host.
"Ted Cruz isn't the enemy," he continued. "Hillary Clinton is the enemy. Ted Cruz is not a nasty guy. Ted Cruz is not a Canadian."
"Nobody is going to believe that, especially when you offer that criticism sounding as though it could come with Bernie Sanders. In a Republican primary, you do not win if you're going to sound like a liberal democrat criticizing Ted Cruz."
The proper question is Huckabee, Santorum, Trump - what do they have in common. The answer is they all three attacked Cruz like liberal Democrats and all three got rejected by voters at the last minute because of it.

Actually I turned Rush off today too at the point when he is pushing Rubio just like Fox, CNN, MSNBC and on and on. I have had enough. Lets two women call in and bash Cruz - probably really Hillary voters. He just lets them sound off. This is not like Rush. Both Trump and Cruz got hit on Rush today. He is pro Rubio.
Just heard someone on Rush’s show compare Cruz to Jimmy Swaggart lol. And that’s exactly how over 50% of the American people will think about Ted Cruz.

Agree he should focus more on policy and compare how the left wants to ruin the military more in an article way, how millions of people are illegal here and they want to reward them , thus Americans young and not skilled lose their jobs etc.
Cruz won’t be able to cut any deals. He will be lame duck if he wins, but he won’t so it doesn’t really matter.

Problem is there is no way to have those high risk pools now. Nobody is saying everyone has a right to insurance, but there are those who need it and want it. If you had cancer why should an insurance company cover you? They shouldn’t so then what?
Cruz called Trump a socialist like Bernie, what is his solution?

Cruz and Rush called Trump a socialist for his solution, what is Cruz’s? Obviously nobody knows because there isn’t one. He has had his paid his entire life unlike some of us.
