AMES, Iowa - Rep. Steve King , an Iowa Republican and Ted Cruz supporter, says Donald Trump bought his endorsements. Trump recently received high profile endorsements from Maricopa County Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, and Liberty University president Jerry Falwell, Jr.
King reiterated his statement about the endorsements to the Daily Caller on Saturday during a Cruz rally at the Gateway Hotel and stressed that he "knows things."
"He has, from a regular person's perspective, unlimited resources and he's willing to use whatever access he has in order to get the endorsements that he wants," King explained.
"Among those are the assets that we would naturally think of, including the attraction that might be for, oh who knows, a reality TV show, a job in the Trump machine," he said.
King added: "There's fame and fortune, and there's also the fear factor of retribution, which Donald Trump has not been shy about delivering against people. So all of that affects a person's judgment under those circumstances."
The conservative Iowa congressman would not get specific, but would only say, "I know things, but I'm saying what is appropriate, so that people will know enough, and I'm wanting to keep this on as high a plane as I can, but I don't think my conscience can allow me from not saying anything."
Check out the latest rumors from camp Cruz!
I never said Trump bankrupted the country. I said IF he became president.............
BUT no worries, he won’t.
I see he picked up a trick or two from Harry Reid's lie about Romney not paying taxes. When will King boast that he "lied and is proud of it" like Reid?
If Mr. King has direct knowledge of such illegals election practices it is his duty as an elected official to give that information to the authorities; in this case the IA State Board of Elections.
After reading this Im voting for Jeb. This settles it.
You have no clue what is going to happen. Your posts are beyond ridiculous.
“One of Trumps businesses going broke is not the same as Trump going broke. ....”
I know, that’s the problem. Trump’s creditors had to pay.
There’s something wrong with the system when a billionaire gets to stick it to his creditors. This is far different from investing in stocks.
You don’t do your research; otherwise, you would have FACTS rather than just say someone is ridiculous. No wonder you support Trump. You don’t do your homework.
Here’s another FACT for you:
“Trump has long praised Mitch McConnell, the man who is the embodiment of why people are fed up with the party and attracted to Trump in the first place. While conservatives were fighting to get rid of McConnell in the 2014 primaries, Trump said, “It would be a shame if he didn’t win, because he has such power, it’s so good for his state.”
It comes as no surprise, then, that late last year Trump criticized Cruz for acting like a âmaniacâ when he called McConnell a liar. How does Trump plan to fight political correctness and the culture of the D.C. establishment when he has championed the mastermind of the GOP establishment and is offended by the non-politically correct criticism of its leader?

After reading this, Trump supporters will probably love McConnell, because Trump does. lol
Stay strong, CW.
That only is true if it is a sub-Chapter S corporation.
There are thousands of private companies where the principals have no personal liability. In Western PA, two major retail outlets, both with sales over $5 BILLION, Giant Eagle and Sheetz are both private companies and the major share holders, are not liable for the corporate debt.
Either of these companies could declare bankruptcy and no owner/shareholder would lose a personal dime.
Interesting.
Then why not use it?
I’ll answer that.
Because giving the impression that they were found guilty as charged in the complaint, was better for your purposes, than the truth.
Trump is playing games with his retoric about him not filing bankruptcy when he has rolled millions of his personal debts hidden under into the bankruptcies.
Your state laws may be different than others.
It's amazing that people who have never owned or run a business don't understand this. Furthermore, they throw around the word "bankrupt" and have no clue WTF the term means.
Cincinatus' Wife got into this topic with ZERO understanding too. Moonbats should take the time to study and learn before making silly statements and embarrassing themselves in public.
I used to be pro-Trump.
Then I began to notice that some of his positions were also Democrat positions.
Then I began to notice that on Free Republic, Trump supporters were continually bashing pro-Cruz FReepers with vile personal attacks, and in Alinsky fashion.
So, I have decided that I will never vote for Trump for anything.
FReepers convinced me.
Mathew 5
22 “But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ [empty head] shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
Nelson, Thomas (2009-02-18). Holy Bible, New King James Version (NKJV) (p. 939). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.
Oh God, you even needed to provide a detailed cite that it came from the NKJV. Guess you’re not used to quoting scripture, eh?
King now borders on outright slander. But typical, unfortunately, from the “Christian” Cruz campaign.
Blindness in large numbers is still blindness.
Populism is an addictive opiate, while conservatism requires thought.
Have a nice eternity. Just remember: Do not take the Mark of the Beast!
