Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he will not be attending Thursday's Republican presidential debate.
However, Trump's decision may be justified in light of an invitation from Fox News and Google to three carefully selected citizens, who are all prominent personalities on YouTube.
These three will be allowed to address the candidates directly at the debate. Two of them appear to have been chosen by Fox and Google because of their ethnicity and religion.
The first, Mark Watson, does not seem to have a dog in the fight against Trump.
The second individual, Dulce Candy, is an immigrant from Mexico, a former U.S. military servicewoman, and a Latina. Trump's commitment to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico could very well be a topic of her discussions with the candidates.
The third individual, Nabela Noor, is a Muslim American who is an outspoken critic of anyone who, like Trump, questions the motivations of Muslims, Muslim immigrants, Islam, and jihad. Noor, who reportedly equated Trump with Adolf Hitler, will most likely address Muslim-related issues with the candidates. Quite possibly, Noor will question Trump's plan to temporarily close U.S. immigration to Muslims. Noor states she uses her voice to combat what she perceives as negative stereotypes of Muslims, a phenomena she states is more prevalent.
Noor's comparison of Trump to Hitler seems to be misplaced. In fact, "the Muslim cleric who inspired Adolf Hitler with the idea of jihad was none other than the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini," writes David Bedein of Israel National News.
Bedein documented the influence of Al-Husseini on Hitler: "Indeed, in 1936, the Mufti welcomed Hitler's deputy, Adolf Eichmann, to his office at the Supreme Islamic Council based at the Palace Hotel in the center of Jerusalem, where Eichmann kept meticulous records of his meetings with the Mufti. The Palestinian Arab leader of that generation taught Eichmann about the philosophy of Jihad."

If what you tell yourself had one ounce of credibility, then why are the only people wringing their hands about what trump is going to do, is you, Cruz and the foxes.

prominent personalities on YouTube. What? Fox brought in a team of hostile YouTubers? Is this what we've come to?
No. Just no. When Fox brings in a team of interlocutors from FR to the Democrat debate, then maybe we have something in the way of fair treatment. Until then this is just a farce. I not only back Trump's decision, I'd strongly recommend it to all the candidates. What's next, thumb-wrestling on Twitter?

This may prove to be a win-win scenario. TRUMP will be with the troops, and TED CRUZ will show his true grit at the debate.

Rush really goes back and forth, it seems from the little I’ve been able to listen to lately. Mostly positive statements about Cruz and Trump. Seems to be a little more negative on Trump, but maybe that’s how I perceive it.

I stopped watching Fox years ago because of the overemphasis on "Fair and Balanced". What that means is that people from both sides yell at each other. It got to be annoying. Only thing about it that is better than CNN is that CNN has 3 or 4 people yelling at the one Republican, and that guy is usually a moderate Republican.
I would prefer presenting the news factually. There is no requirement to balance the truth with the lie.

I'm a Ted Cruz campaigner, although I've often complimented Donald Trump on some of his positions.
Donald Trump is making a SEVERE mistake to NOT participate in the Thursday debate.
Why ?
The three (3) "special guests":
1) Mark Watson (unknown)
2) Ms. Dulce Candy, is an immigrant from Mexico, a former U.S. military servicewoman, and a Latina.
3) Ms. Nabela Noor, is a Muslim American who is an outspoken critic of anyone who, like Trump, questions the motivations of Muslims, Muslim immigrants, Islam, and jihad ... and has reportedly equated Trump with Adolf Hitler.
Is Donald Trump really SERIOUS about "Building the Mexico Wall" ?
THEN tell that (and his reasons) to the Ms. Dulce Candy (to her face) in front of 35 million TV viewers.
Stand His Ground (like Stonewall Jackson).
Say "NO" to the America's assured destruction if Illegal Immigration is NOT STOPPED.
Is Donald Trump really SERIOUS about STOPPING Islamic Terrorism in America ?
THEN tell that (and his reasons) to the Ms. Nabela Noor (to her face) in front of 35 million TV viewers.
Again, Donald. Stand YOUR Ground (like Stonewall Jackson).
Say "NO" to America's assured destruction if Islamic Terrorism is NOT STOPPED.
And ask Ms. Nabela Noor HOW CAN ISLAM claim to be civilized when they strap suicide-explosive belts around their children to EXTERMINATE Christians and Jews ?
Senator Ted Cruz ... STAND YOUR GROUND as well.
We're ALL Watching.
Remember Patton's Speech ?
Echoing General Patton ... both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump need to "wade into the POLITICAL enemy ... spill their blood (politically) ... shoot them in the belly (politically) ...
It's TIME WE WIN this WAR ... Gentlemen ....

i agree. they should all tell fox to pound it, and pass on the debate.
send the media a very expensive message.
To: AuntB
Not surprised Fox is trying to rig the so called "debate".
Would love to see a one on one debate between Trump and Cruz as suggested by Cruz: Each invites 1/2 the audience from Iowa, and they ask the questions.
Or no moderator.
Or they could choose their own moderators- have 2 mods.
Either way this would be a real debate, and 1000 times better than what FOX will do.

Dana had a yelling fit when Trump announced he was running.. she has not gotten over it. She hasn't gotten over it... she's been very vocal against him all along, and now she's totally going off the rails with her BS.

about the endorsement: YAWN!
Funny thing is, if they would have come out in support of Ted there would have been 32 threads on it here over the next 16 hours.

Meanwhile, exciting developments from the Iowa front lines!
