Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he will not be attending Thursday's Republican presidential debate.
However, Trump's decision may be justified in light of an invitation from Fox News and Google to three carefully selected citizens, who are all prominent personalities on YouTube.
These three will be allowed to address the candidates directly at the debate. Two of them appear to have been chosen by Fox and Google because of their ethnicity and religion.
The first, Mark Watson, does not seem to have a dog in the fight against Trump.
The second individual, Dulce Candy, is an immigrant from Mexico, a former U.S. military servicewoman, and a Latina. Trump's commitment to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico could very well be a topic of her discussions with the candidates.
The third individual, Nabela Noor, is a Muslim American who is an outspoken critic of anyone who, like Trump, questions the motivations of Muslims, Muslim immigrants, Islam, and jihad. Noor, who reportedly equated Trump with Adolf Hitler, will most likely address Muslim-related issues with the candidates. Quite possibly, Noor will question Trump's plan to temporarily close U.S. immigration to Muslims. Noor states she uses her voice to combat what she perceives as negative stereotypes of Muslims, a phenomena she states is more prevalent.
Noor's comparison of Trump to Hitler seems to be misplaced. In fact, "the Muslim cleric who inspired Adolf Hitler with the idea of jihad was none other than the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini," writes David Bedein of Israel National News.
Bedein documented the influence of Al-Husseini on Hitler: "Indeed, in 1936, the Mufti welcomed Hitler's deputy, Adolf Eichmann, to his office at the Supreme Islamic Council based at the Palace Hotel in the center of Jerusalem, where Eichmann kept meticulous records of his meetings with the Mufti. The Palestinian Arab leader of that generation taught Eichmann about the philosophy of Jihad."
What is really sad is that someone at Fox thought it was a good idea to be “relevant” to millennials by recruiting these supposed “stars” in social media.
Maybe next time they’ll decide against having a freak show and opt for a serious discussion instead.
The Fox Business debate was serious and substantial. What is it with the News side?
"Dulce Candy"?
Are you sure somebody's not making a joke?
Anyway, I'm glad Crowley landed on her feet.
And not on somebody else.
Beyond the primary process, if he can't hack a debate on Fox, how's he gonna deal with polished world leaders one-on-one? What's he gonna do when missiles are headed this way and he needs to come up with a response? Is he going to commission a white paper and appoint a bunch of experts to come up with that report in the minutes he has left to respond?
I’d say knowing in advance that these shills are in the audience, almost certain to be called on, one or two of the candidates participating will have an opportunity to either wimp out (and draw boos) or try to out Trump Trump (and be cheered). And now that the audience knows about the set up, when/if these plants are called on they can receive what they (and Fox) deserve. A good loud round of hisses and Bronx cheers.
They started talking on the 5 on Fox and this is what angers me on what Fox did. It doesn’t matter who the moderators are.. it doesn’t matter what they ask (though I’d like it to be about policy).. but it has to be for all.. they can’t single out one man.
What they did.. they made it personal. They don’t do this to any other candidate.. just Trump. They don’t hate any other candidate.. just Trump. The GOP doesn’t like Cruz, but the media hasn’t singled out anyone but Trump. That is what bothers me about all this.
The 5 (had to turn it off.. could not take it).. were talking like this is normal.. and they are all defending Fox. This is not normal for a ‘fair and balanced’ news organization to take ONE man and treat him worse than they have treated the dictator in chief. It goes to show that they are comfortable in their Washington and don’t mind obama’s actions... which is a disconnect to the people out here. For Fox to make Trump a PERSONAL triumph and take him out.. that is the prize.. to be the ones to take him down to nothing.
I swear, Trump doesn’t have to do this.. he can go back to his Trump Towers and live a nice life.. he is doing this because he knows we all are hurting from what obama and the media have done. Do a google and you’ll find where he has helped many veterans.. and others.. which he does not brag about.
This personal attack from Fox is just the final straw... and all we will hear on the TV is how bad Trump is and it’s not Fox’s fault.. nor megyn’s.
By the way.. I don’t want Trump to change his mind on this.. but if he does.. (and I’ve heard Fox is making phone calls to Trump and trying to make a deal to get him back.) If he does... it would show his bargaining power.. the art of making a deal.. and getting what he wants.. that is.. if it turns out that way.
Sweet Candy? Really?
Here comes a girl walking down the street.
Boy, she's sweet from her head to her feet.
Sugar, Sugar! Sugar, Sugar!
Trump isn’t like Hitler. He’s like Charlie Sheen, without the drugs.
I, for one, will not be watching at all.
But then, I didn’t watch any of the others, either...................B^)
[Dana Perino, on todayâs The Five episode of Trump bashing, said sheâs never been more proud of Fox News for sticking up for their journalistic integrity.]
As a former POTUS press secretary, Perino should have said she was proud of TRUMP for sticking up for his political integrity.
Those nasty The Five people are all saying things like "how can Trump ever win women's votes with this anti-woman behavior". They are really ticked that Trump is beating their GOPe/DNC favorites.

Seriously, Trump found out about this and made it about Megan (I dress like a hooker because I can’t get attention any other way) Kelly. But these 2 ringers won’t be able to resist asking the same questions that they were going to ask Trump - just to the other candidates, slightly modified...at which point the public (those who are watching, that is) will realize that Trump did the right thing. He’s not so stupid as to walk into a Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid ambush.
Faux is hurriedly re-writing the scripts from setting Trump up to setting
Cruz up. Starting with debate MODs, to after debate talking heads to
Frank Luntz’s focus group. It is all being pre-determined again.
A lot f midnight oil being spent at Faux.
Dana had a yelling fit when Trump announced he was running.. she has not gotten over it.
WHAT? You must be a COMMUNIST! WWE is REAL!
Faux “news” is a bad joke. 50% owned by moozlums...and then, there is murdock...a one-world degenerate.
So Trump is afraid of a Muslim girl? He should have preped for the set up and responded with fact.
That’s great!
I saw this info posted by one of ours on a thread today but I don’t remember the screen name.
Hmmmm. I notice that google didn’t invite Diamond & Silk for some reason.
