Trump announces he is most likely not doing the debate

Trump just announced he is not doing the debate this week. Seems that along with not liking Megyn Kelly, Fox just issued some email that insulted him. Some message about Putin and him.

He said he will likely not change his mind.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At leat he doesn’t look like Grandpa Munster aka “Ted Cruz.” And anyone who lies as much as Cruz is ugly inside too.

You won’t watch, but you’re already a Trump supporter, so it won’t matter.

I’m thinking he realized Cruz is about to shove Kelo and a hundred of Trump’s other liberal and corrupt positions up his rear end.

That's my take. Whether or not Trump shows up, he is going to take a lot of flack with no defense. Hard to deny your own clearly spoken words.

Fox deserves what they get, and I hope they take it in the shorts.

Hope Cruz brings up the background of Trump’s campaign spokeswoman. That should be fun.

Nice Mark Levin reference, even if there aren’t that many FReepers who remember.

This is a battle tactic. Risky to be sure,

Without rebuttal he'll be fodder for 7 other cannons. Uhh...make that 6, Jeb uses bb guns.

If Trump is a no-show, the audience will be even bigger.

It’s kind of sad that the official position of this site (and a frightening number of its members) is that it’s not only acceptable but desirable for a presidential candidate to bail on a debate because he’s afraid a moderator won’t be fair.

Whether she’s fair or not is irrelevant. All Trump does now is whine and insult her, like the ignorant, petty, spoiled manchild that he is. The more important point is that leading the country is serious business and you have to deal with confrontational people all the time. You can’t just bury your head in the sand.

But then there are thousands upon thousands of idiots supporting him. Certainly not very reassuring.

The GOP should get down on its knees every day and thank God that Trump is in the race. He is the one turning out new voters and getting the biggest and most enthusiastic crowds. He is the reason Fox set a cable record with 24 million viewers to watch a GOP primary debate.

Trump signed his GOP loyalty oath while some of the GOPe and so-called conservative intellectuals are saying they will not vote for him if he is the candidate. When have you ever seen a conservative magazine dedicate an entire edition to condemn the GOP frontrunner who has been leading the pack for the past 7 months?

Cruz supports the approval of the Keystone pipeline. The company building it will have to secure the rights of way to actually construct it from the property owners. Don’t think it’s an eminent domain problem from a federal point of view.
