Cruz was my choice from the beginning, but until Trump came along Ted didn't have a prayer of overcoming the DC establishment.

Thanks to Trump, the establishment is in total disarray.

I'd much rather have Cruz, but I'll settle for Trump if that's the only way to defeat the political establishment.

I will go with either Trump or Cruz, because the USA cannot have either a Clinton or a Sanders.

“I’d much rather have Cruz, but I’ll settle for Trump if that’s the only way to defeat the political establishment.”

I think most REAL Cruz supporters take your position, that Trump isn’t great for our cause, but he will FINALLY take down the GOPe, who INSISTS, for example that we get behind Amnesty, and want to pretty much doing everything else the Dems demand.

The ‘Cruz supporters’ that get vile attacking Trump - I suspect that they’re not even Cruz supporters, but support other candidates (Rubio, Bush, Kasich, etc.), and some could be on their payrolls (obviously no proof here, yet). There is a LOT of PAC money which is NOT WORKING in the usual ways...so try some ‘unusual’ methods and see what happens.

Trump has hotel rooms and golf courses to fill and he ain’t gonna be alienating the top 1-5% establishment-wanna-be types, wuite the opposite.

I supported him until he showed his juvenile mean streak on Twitter initially, and every day since then.

You took the words right out of my head. I was just thinking that. I have exactly the same thinking.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. If we did not have Trump we would be stuck with Bush and fighting a battle we would not win.

We’ve got to batter down the shield that political correctness gives to the left.

Trump and Cruz are the only ones that recognize that.

Then why are all the GOPe supporting Trump? I’d be running so fast the other direction from that!

Trump has taught me that to overcome a thoroughly Alinskyized Democrat Party and D.C. establishment, you HAVE to resort to tactics that mainstream Conservatives would find very distasteful.

Trump does often make me cringe. But he knows how to win.

One thing for sure, our nominee will love America and truly believe it is uniquely exceptional status among all nations.

Our candidate will not blame & apologize on behalf of America for all the world's problems.

The problem being that Trump is a deal-maker... and the biggest issue we have had is sending GOP reps in who simply start making deal with the Dems and the establishment. Nothing.... NOTHING exists to let us believe that Trump won't also make deals, since that's what he does, and who he is.... and even worse, hi aims and goals in making thee deals may not be what mot Conservative would be hoping for.

I LOVE that he takes the fight to the enemy... Dems, media, and GOPe.... but we need actual Conservatism in office far more than we need the joy of watching them all take a black eye on a weekly basis.

Same here. If a President Trump were just to secure the borders, he’d be a success, IMO.
