The “dynasty” isn't the issue. It's that Jeb isn't, and doesn't want to be, conservative.

God bless Rummy. He took way too much unfair criticism. How could we afford a larger military with all of that nation-building and domestic spending?

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Particularly against the Bush family. Well Played, Mr. Secretary.

I heard him on FoxNews today. He went after Obama and his “no policy” policy.

He’s still commands attention. I always liked Rumsfield.

The former congressman also directly addressed criticism by the senior Bush in his authorized biography last fall. President George H.W. Bush called Rumsfeld an “arrogant fellow” who served “the president badly.”

At the time, Rumsfeld fired back, attributing the harsh words on the age of the elder Bush, who is 91.

On TODAY, Rumsfeld said he and the elder Bush never had a close relationship.

The way your quote is structured, it might be important to emphasize that Rumsfeld was referring to Jeb in your first sentence. (sometimes people start commenting before reading the whole thing)

That interview was AWESOME. Just what Jebbie doesn't need. <^..^>

I always liked Rumsfeld. He struck me as an earnest public servant who was not about enriching himself but doing what he thought was right for the country.

True.. Jeb is a line, lorn creature, but his real problem is Trump’s oversized persona. It makes Bush look like a corporate wonk who avoids the water cooler at all costs.

I met Rumsfeld while he was the Sec. of Def. and I was in the military. Although the interaction was brief you could tell he was the kind of person that didn’t BS around but you could easily talk to.

Rumsfeld was one of the few in the Bush Administration who tried to warn us of the danger coming over the uncontrolled Mexican border. Unfortunately, Bush listened to Rove, Norquist and Cruz.

(2004) http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1281801/posts

DOBBS: Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is warning of the threat of terrorists entering this country through the same routes as those used by illegal aliens. Secretary Rumsfeld, traveling in South America, warned that enemies look for weaknesses and take advantage of them.

DONALD RUMSFELD, SECRETARY OF DEFENSE: The risk is that some of these human-smuggling routes into our country from this hemisphere could be used just as easily for terrorists.

DOBBS: And three million illegal aliens are estimated to be entering this country this year.

Secretary Rumsfeld also said the United States has to be, as he put it, smarter and quicker in securing our borders. The federal government’s failure to secure those borders is leading individual states to take action. Arizona’s Proposition 200, which limits state benefits for illegals, passed overwhelmingly two weeks ago. Now at least half a dozen other states are considering similar measures.

Well its not so much its a dynasty as it is a globalist fellow travelers club that call a perverted, criminal, impeached former president adopted son and brother.
