Pataki: Clinton’s legal issues will force outsider into Dem race
The Hill ^ | January 24, 2016 | Ben Kamisar

Former GOP presidential candidate George Pataki is predicting that Democrat Hillary Clinton's "legal issues" will force an outside candidate to jump into the 2016 White House race as a white knight.

"People talk about the problems in the Republican Party, but I think Democrats have a bigger problem," the former New York governor told host John Catsimatidis on "The Cats Roundtable" on New York's AM-970 on Sunday.

"Hillary Clinton is cratering, the scandals just keep coming. She has grave legal issues that could totally prevent her from continuing her campaign, and the alternative is a self-avowed socialist who has never run anything."

Pataki added that it would not surprise him to see an "outsider jump into the race" like Vice President Joe Biden, California Gov. Jerry Brown or Secretary of State John Kerry.

Despite his previous pronouncements that Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has no chance at the GOP nomination, Pataki conceded that his prediction isn't borne out by reality.

"He's just tapped into anger towards Washington, anger towards politicians," he said.

"I understand the anger, but the solution is not to get behind someone who expresses the anger but does not have the necessary solution. I hope people coalesce around somebody who has a positive vision about how to bring Americans together."

Pataki dropped his bid for the White House last month after failing to gain traction in the polls. He was a mainstay on the undercard debate stage.

Within the Democrat party, the super delegates have enough votes to overrule the party voters outside of a spectacular landslide. They have done so before.

Think back to Watergate. What was stolen?

Their candidate need only win a few states to be at the convention to receive the coronation.

the party can substitute as it desires...

For real? That's sick. I do not understand how a voter can pull a lever for an un-named candidate. Something illegal here.

What I described is exactly how presidential elections work. That we have a mental image otherwise is only because the disruptive events have not been experienced.

Totally legal. In the general, the living breathing human being you vote for is a party elector, not the nominee. And in a primary or a caucus, your voice, while directed to a living breathing candidate, actually translates into delegates at the nominating convention.

The politicians and party hacks argue that it is legal to put unqualified candidates on the ballot.

I think George Pataki is voicing a GOPe wet dream. Who is going to indict Hillary? The Just-us Department? The last time I looked the Attorney General was still Loretta Lynch. Anyone out there have any doubt that any move to indict Hillary, by any career(ist) US Attorney would be not only squashed, but that the “Career US Attorney” could kiss that career goodbye?

Nope, the Republicans are going to have to beat her head to head and my thought is their party is too fractured for that to happen.

I have been predicting this for months. Hillary is an ncredibly weak and flawed candidate. She is the gift that keeps on giving. Craven, corrupt and immensely unlikable, Republicans just cant be that lucky.

The same know-it-all talking heads that say Trump cant win, were telling us Hillary was inevitable, Michael Medved in particular.

I really fear an unknown candidate inserted at the last minute more than Hillary.

I understand that you were once in the same state as Hitlery Clinton.

Therefore, you should be under investigation by the FBI and regardless of their findings, drop out of FR.

I am with you. Hillary will never be indicted. Hell has a better chance of freezing over in the next 10 seconds than she does of being indicted. If you follow the bitch’s political career, you will discover that she goes from one felony crime to another. From time to time, they may get a scapegoat like Webster Hubbell to take her place. But she always skates. This time will be no different.

Whenever Pataki predicts something, isn’t he always wrong?

While the corrupt DOJ will never indict Hillary, some disgusted FBI agents could reveal the truth about the Hillary’s influence peddling and utter disregard for the classified information leaked from her server. Most of the left wing media will ignore this information but it will not go away and combined with Hillary’s lack of charm with many voters Democrat insiders will see her chances of being elected dropping. However, the announced alternative, aging socialist Bernie Sanders, would mean a GOP landslide in November. Joe Biden might well still emerge as the Democrat candidate. Al Gore is a possibility but is widely seen as a flake. Ditto for California governor Jerry Brown. Hillary will be all but toast by the time of the Democratic convention.

The photo was taken at the 2008 Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation Golf Classic held at the Trump National Golf Club.

Trump being photographed at a charitable event at his own course indicates what exactly?

Joe Biden would lose a battle of wits with Putin’s dog.<<<
You got that right!...It was part of my prediction a few weeks back...

HERES MY PREDICTION....

Hillary's crimes must be dealt with...they are too blatant to be completely overlooked ...but the dems know that..she can be pardoned...her job has been to stay in the race as a place holder for “Gaffs¯Â¿Â½â‚¬Â Biden....He couldn't campaign the whole race because he'd make a fool of himself with his crazy off the cuff remarks and they know it!...If he rides in on the white horse at the very last minute they think they can pass him off as sane and the savior of the democratic party...the MSM will pee up their leg over him

(U heard it here 1st folks)
