Kasich is a competent numbers guy. He burnt a couple of bridges by not being able to pull off in Ohio what Walker did in Wisconsin— and I still don’t get that because I’d always considered WI more liberal than OH. Then he took the Medicaid expansion under Obamacare. At this point Kasich’s best bet is to be HHS.
