This and "Ol' New York, New York" have probably finished Ted Cruz for this year. I believe firmly were he to get the nomination that this would have trailed him all the way to defeat in November. It's a painful fact for Cruzers I know, but one that should be admitted so we can get on with taking the White House in November. THE COUNTRY IS AT STAKE.
Yawn!
A qtr of the Republican voters would believe anything as long as it would get Cruz out of the race.
A silly poll.
Bull crap.
Sure gets old
I think the immaturity that Cruz showed in last nights debate disqualifies him. He should go back to the Senate for another 8 years, get some more experience and maturity and try again if the courts show him to be qualified then.
I was a Cruz supporter when he first announced. But last night he showed his true colors. He’s a snake. He’s finished.
Or the headline could have read: "75% of Republicans think White House hopeful Ted Cruz is qualified to serve as U.S. president..."
Actually the headline is really that less than half think he’s qualified. Don’t know is the only right answer because there hasn’t been a SCOTUS decision, but it functions the same as a “not qualified” answer.
25% is a big chunk of the voter pool.
so, why is barry still kicking around in the White House?
shouldn’t he be removed and drug through the streets?
Pffft... another dishonest push poll. No sale.
amazing what freepers will do to continue their NY liberal fan boi kool aid.
There’s a cloud over Ted Cruz’s head until he gets this cleared up. And he seems to be dodging the issue.
If Trump makes it past the primary I will likely support him, but I have a grave concern that Trump will be changing his tune after the Republican primary.
My concern is that Trump, being the smart guy he is, is simply playing to the galleries and were he to get elected it is very, very easy for me to see this guy going all kinds of squishy.
The donettes must be feeling pretty down in the trumps this morning after their giant orange muppet got shellacked in the debates last night - so they’re beating on the eligibility can again.
We have had a lesson ALREADY in what ignoring the Constitution’s NATURAL-BORN CITIZIN clause means.
Hey, here is a question.
Who would you trust to pick a Supreme Court Judge that is a strict Constitutionalist?
Face it, this will be the most important task of the next president.
Sarcasm/ Ah, who cares? We can just bring a bunch of judges together and play The Apprentice \sarcasm
The only thing that would clear this up is a Supreme Court ruling.
Arguing ‘experts’ do him no good and distracts from his campaigning.
Big mistake not to have put this into court already- maybe by a friendly challenge from the Texas Secretary of State.
I believe that Cruz is eligible [after I learned that Breitbart’s bogus drive-by report was debunked], but when we claim something we believe, it doesn’t mean a blasted thing.
If 1/4 of republicans aren’t sure, then ALL democrats WILL be sure that he is not eligible. And independents? A gamble.
[More coming up. Sure I posted more on this than you care to read.]
But he has also precluded himself from choosing Cruz as his VP, unless he can perform a convincing "declaratory judgment" in court to satisfy everyone. But even that may not be enough.
