Mark Levin has been trying to stay out of the conflict between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. He says he likes both men and has both on his show. But as Trump has escalated his birther attacks on Cruz, Levin has spent hours of airtime defending Cruz against these arguments...while studiously not mentioning who is making these arguments.
Well, it looks as though Levin has finally had enough, because ConservativeReview.com, of which he is editor in chief, has published a piece (that Levin has tweeted a link to) that exposes Donald Trump's political inconsistencies, point by point.
Entitled Trump's Questionable Political History, the article talks about how Trump met with illegal alien activists in 2013 and said he was "convinced" to support amnesty. The article also quotes Trump saying he wanted to "expedite" the return of illegal aliens into the country and notes a quote that Trump simply had no opinion either way on the "Gang of 8" amnesty bill that Marco Rubio is being so criticized for.
The article also cites how on September 8 of last year, Trump was for bringing in Syrian refugees, but he changed his mind on the 9th.
Here's what author Daniel Horowitz also wrote:
Conservatives need to know if Donald Trump is really the man who will put Americans first and demolish the "dummies" in Washington or if his lack of a coherent philosophy will lead him to reflexively parrot the very politically correct talking points he so vehemently assails and yet has so often adopted. Is Trump who we think he is on immigration or is he pragmatically trying to tap into a frustration to win the primary with a plan to revert to his original talking points

What “intellectual controtions”? List them. Levin is consistent on the issue. Cruz IS a NB citizen, PERIOD!
Or his Dad’s books. Don’t forget about that.
Or how one more thing and he swears he’s going to leave the Republican Party. Why do we listen to what any radio personalities say? It’s no different than listening to actors or singers. They’re “entertainers!” It’s like admitting we’re to stupid to think for ourselves.
Pushing? That’s a stretch. He mentioned Rubio supported Article V. That’s all.
Van Gough listeners.
***Each day I recognize this site less & less...***
You got that right. Religious bashing. People being banned for not following group think on a “We stand for free speech site.”
Of course every where you look madness is considered sane and sanity is considered madness.
Mark Levin has always liked Donald Trump, as well as Cruz.
But when Trump HIMSELF said awhile back that Cruz IS a Natural Born Citizen, and now he’s using DIRTY POLITICS to cast doubt on that, good for Mark Levin.
Mark Levin just wants the TRUTH to get out!
I have it on good authority here that Trump is the second coming ... and so is Cruz!
Mindboggling, isn’t it...
***Now I know why these guys never mention or pursue Obamaâs birth issue. That said and according to them, even âIFâ Barack Obama was born in Kenya with his US citizen mother and non-US citizen father, heâs just as American as Ted Cruz.
I guess apologies to Barack Obama are in order...***
Yes Obama not being a citizen was talked about a lot on FR including by me. I find it interesting no one had responded to your post.
....which makes it even more of a Headlie.
It wasn't even Mark.
Whatever. I see both men as worthy of the presidency - and for different reasons. Neither man is perfect.
The defining issue for me is which man can win the general election. Trump has a divers following from all sectors of the political realm - Senator Cruz, not so much. That is the bottom line reality in 2016.
I want my country to prosper - and to prosper she must first survive. If we get another Obama clone in the WH, then you might as well take down the flag and turn off the lights - b/c it’s all over but the crying.
My money is on Mr. Trump; but I will vote for Senator Cruz if he gets the nomination ... And then I am going to fast and pray like I have never done before in my life.
I was excited about Trump and Cruz , but woke up after he began to trash and yes basically bear false witness against Cruz.
That would be because of the Trump supporters...
Their candidate has no ground... center... he blows whichever way the wind blows.
Combine that with their emotional filled, leg tingling Trump love... and you get nonsense filled rebuttals and attacks against conservative stalwarts.
They are the Romney supporters reincarnated... liberal loving, commie supporting, operatives...
If America was praying in Jesus Name, they would not be supporting Trump but Cruz
I do pray it wakes...
I pray the people on this very board wake up and see the liberal charlatan they are supporting in wretched candidate like Donald J. Trump.
Amen.
Today, Rush was marveling at how Trump gave the speech in Florida.
Orin is still in the Senate. Mistakes have consequences. I

No. The particular law in effect between 1952 and 1986 which covers Ted Cruz’s birth in 1970 shows that a child born either inside or outside the United States must have a (that would be “A” and not two) citizen parent who resided in the United States for at least 10 years, including five after the age of 14, in order to be considered a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.” Obama’s mother gave birth at 16, and had been out of the US so long she could not transmit citizenship, so if Obama was born overseas, he is NOT eligible to be President, unlike Ted Cruz. Obama HAD to be born inside the USA to be qualified, and that is why people want to see an ORIGINAL Birth Certificate!
RE: I have it on good authority here that Trump is the second coming ... and so is Cruz!
Why I would both for either if they were the nominee, no one qualifies for that role.
And if the second coming were to occur, it’s by definition, the end of the world, so who would care who’s the President by then?
