Trump Rallies Against Cuomo, New York Gun Control [ 04/01/14 ]

ALBANY, N.Y. On April 1st 2014, Donald Trump spoke at a large rally on Empire State Plaza. Thousands of gun rights activists attended.

Trump hasn't just taken up this issue as some have stated. At this rally he spoke out against Cuomos new gun control efforts.

I think the best argument one has that he is a now a for real conservative is his conversion since obummer began destroying the country, like dems do.

I read an article where he was fond of carter, and said Reagan might be an empty suit, but I think he has been Woken Up about liberals by this jerk in office.

only thing good about Obama, he rallied conservatives like no one has in a long time.

I sometimes wonder exactly what his intent is concerning some of his comments.

It would seem he would have a hard time thinking Carter was a good president. Maybe he did some things Trump liked, but overall Trump wasn’t fully in his camp. I didn’t see his comments, so I can’t judge.

In Trump’s formative years, he may have been a 12-18 hour a day work-aholic.

Perhaps some news of the day sailed over his head. I don’t know.

I think, as a NYer, some of his intent was to seem moderate, because it is VERY hard to business in NYC if you’re as conservative as he says he is now.

I’ve had to swallow my pride on interviews because I needed to pay the bills. And, like Trump, when I felt I was at the point where it didn’t matter anymore (for me, I was at the company long enough to point out the attacks against my beliefs if I got fired) I let oose with guns blazing :)

also, you get more conservative as you get older if you are NOT a complete psycho liberal. and he never was that.

third, Obama drove him over the edge. the most extreme liberal/fascist/communist/muslim/gay marriage loving president.

don’t think there are big secrets to his change further right.

he was moderate, now he’s a lot more to the right. And maybe he was NEVER moderate in his heart.

For the most art, as far as I can recall, president act like they said they would on the campaign trail.

Carter was liberal, Reagan was conservative, Bush was Almost there, Clinton was what he said, Bush was a little too new world order, and Obama said he wanted to fundamentally transform us.

and he did.
