Raising the bar for other cities throughout the country, New York City announced "strong" and "bold" protections for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals.
The new legal guidance, issued Dec. 21 by the New York City Commission on Human Rights, came as part of an expansion of the city's 2002 Human Rights Law, which protects against discrimination in a range of categories. The updated policy specifically protects transgender and gender non-conforming individuals from discrimination in areas of employment, public accommodation, and housing.

Boldfaced state restrictions on free speech. NONE of the Feds business. The people of each state must decide to keep their freedoms of speech or allow the gay agenda to intrude into their freedoms of speech and free exercise of religion because next is banning the Bible and biblical teaching.
This isn’t going anywhere IMO.

Can you refer to them as “Hey, you, the mentally imbalanced one”?

The Constitution ONLY restricts the feds. It is up to the people of each state to decide whether they want freedom of speech or not and vote and/or recall and/or launch inititaives accordingly.

We’ve always called them “it.” If they don’t like that, too @(!*# bad.

Not a problem. I’ll make sure no member of my family sets foot in that hellhole again.
What if they prefer to be called “shim”?

It depends on what they prefer.
My new pronoun is going to have at least 50 syllables.

I hope all landlords have body cams. I expect the ‘downtrodden’ to lie and file false charges left and right.

leave out the second-person personal pronoun “you” and I believe “Hey, the mentally imbalanced one there [pointed to via finger]” would be perfectly legal under the “preferred personal pronoun law”.

“Faggot” works for me just fine.
I wouldn’t say that to them necessarily because I’m not about trying to hurt others, but that’s what I call them as a political group.
Of course, I used to work with a gay guy who used to laugh and stand up and declare, “I’m a faggot.” Didn’t seem to mind a bit.
