It is my opinion that, under these EOs, any senior citizen who becomes ill, has to have a hospital stay or take pain medication, have home healthcare or who have a Power of Attorney Order so that their children can help them with business matters, etc., will also have their rights to protect themselves taken away.
Since there are no definitions provided (as usual) any of the above reasons or just about any the Regime cares to state, will be justification. And any senior citizen who lives in government subsidized housing might just as well resign themselves to being corralled in one of those sitting duck, gun free zones.
I've had enough attacks on my rights just because of my age. Bullies and tyrants always pick off the weakest first.

This article about forcible removal of homeless people from the street might seem unrelated. But if you have the patience to read it all; it will demonstrate the mindset that gives government the “right” to take away freedoms based on their definition of what constitutes mental illness. The implications are indeed chilling. It has begun and on several fronts. May the Almighty help us.
Protecting guns:
Step 1 - vote, and get patriotic neighbors out to vote; have a list of neighbors who are conservative, and remind them to vote, providing transportation if needed
Step 2 - do not register your guns, buy and sell at gun shows or otherwise outside the formal record system so that there is no government record of what you have
Step 3 - when it’s time to hide/bury your guns, it’s time for a different response entirely
Step 4 - teach your own children to shoot, teach other children to shoot, teach young adults to shoot, expand the number of people who enjoy shooting so that we will remain the majority (the socialists see this as a very long term struggle, and we have a moral obligation to protect the next generation and the generation after that)
As a charter member of the Free Republic Canoe Club, I enjoy the standard joke as much as anyone, but if you actually need that excuse, it’s too late (for your guns, for your freedom, for your children, and for America). Obama is by far the most evil person ever to set foot in our White House, but he represents his voters. There are a lot of Americans who want tyranny, since they think they will get more than their share of the loot that an unrestrained government can take from innocent victims. We need to make sure that is never again the majority.
Although you’ve listed a small number of articles that highlight your premise - Leftists want to confiscate your arms - it doesn’t necessarily follow that all leftists want their arms taken away.

Many other leftists who read this DailyKos article commented in a similar fashion in very colorful language that can’t be repeated here.
Documenting the leftist mantra about gun confiscation may be a worthwhile endeavor, but confiscation and who is for it, I believe, is an extremely complex question that can’t be easily answered.
I guess my point is that not all leftists, even though the call for confiscation mostly originates from the left, favor confiscation.
Maybe you could document calls for confiscation from politicians and public figures. That gives us figurative targets to shoot at. And those two groups mentioned above are certainly the money and brains behind the confiscation movement who need to be disarmed and wrecked on the reefs.
