There is alot more to the article, but way too much to post in an excerpt.

Realclear Politics has Trump loosing to Clinton on average.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_presidential_race.html

And worse than any other front runner in the presidential race.

Just keep seeing people make the point that we should vote for Trump instead of Cruz because Trump is more electable..... the recent Poll data is not echoing those statements.

“Electability” did nothing for Dole, McCain or Romney.

“Most national polls show Republican frontrunner Donald Trump trailing likely Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and faring worse than other GOP hopefuls against her.”

Think, Trump-fans.

It is clear to me that Trump will beat Hillary. The issue is how many of the GOP wants in.

Trump will take independents and honest democrats. I say let him run.

There is no such thing as “electability” because the only way to determine if someone is “electable” is to put them into the nomination. Anything else is just surmising.

It seems clear to me that it’s Donald or Hillary. I kind of like Donald, but if Hillary gets in, it’s the new dark age, as far as I can determine. I fear the worst. I just hope I can pass on the past to my GC, but I fear my influence is weak. I’ll do my best.

I’m sorry, but the article is merely GOPe projection, and has no base in reality.

Hillary will likely win regardless of whom the GOP nominates.

If we’re going to go down this year, I want us to go down with someone willing to fight.

Trump can’t do worse than historical milquetoast GOP candidates no one got excited about and he could do better.

In the long run of things, electability is way overrated.

.
Trump is absolutely not electable.

He is just the favorite of the simplistic class. They always find the most simplistic candidate and rally behind him.

Simplistic candidates cannot win; the voters are simply too aware of their vast weakness.

Did Hillary ever have a standing-room-only rally with 15,000 in one colliseum and 10,000 next door watching on video screen in 2008 or 2016?

None of the GOP candidates is “electable” unless the script of the race is changed from 2012. Hillary will re-run Obama’s 2012 strategy on an eligible electorate which is 1.5% or so less white and 3.75 years or so younger and 2% less unemployed than the 2012 eligible electorate, with at least as many low information women and “moderate” white voters coming in to her to replace the black voters who stay home because they don’t have their hometown team in the finals. Figure 54-46 win without breaking a sweat.

So — it’s script change or nothing. Playing by their rules is certain defeat.

OK, two reporters who in all probability will vote the “D” line, regardless of who is running on the “R” line, are telling us, who will lose against Hillary? LOL, Run Hillary Run! The poll I’d be most interest is Hillary’s internal one.

Yep, and Trump constantly touts his standing in polls.

But, according to some of his supporters, polls don't matter...

Cruz does not open the map, in fact no other republican than Trump opens the map.

I personally see no other candidate that cracks the map wide open and puts more states in play than Trump.

Any other candidate, and you have basically the same map as 2012 with repub fighting for a handful or so states to flip there way to manage a win, because nothing has changed, even with Hillary as weak as she is as a candidate, the dynamic is the same as before... No significant change to the dynamic just hopes that a better GOTV gets a win.. Because nothing is different.

Trump cracks the map wide open IMHO... States no one could imagine being in play with anyone else open up.

anyone that is stupid enough, or willfully ignorant enough, to vote for Hillary Clinton, should lose their right to vote permanently, and be forever deported from the United States of America. She is that bad of a candidate. She should not the allowed to be running for office. Any office!anyone that is willing to cast their vote for this despicable cretin should lose that right to vote. To vote for Hillary Clinton is a decidedly unAmerican, anti-american act. Such voters do not love our country

No, it won’t. Because Obama already proved that electability didn’t make a difference to his getting elected for TWO terms.

We broke that paradigm already.

The fears that The Donald will not come through are the typical hand wringing that goes with the political game. What will settle those fears is when he pulls out all stops and plays his trump cards. Right now he is holding his cards for the big play and will not tell what his strategy will be. It is the art of keeping ones opponent guessing what his next move will be. The game of chess is a good example of that.

Trump's image with all registered voters at 33 percent favorable/59 percent unfavorable - dismal numbers, and the highest unfavorable rating of any GOP hopeful.

This is what I've been saying all along: Trump's negatives are through the roof. Trump has virtually 100% name recognition, and most people have a negative view toward him. He who lives by the poll shall die by the poll.
