You could hear it in her voice. Hosting Meet the Press on Sunday, NBC's Andrea Mitchell was clearly exasperated by Donald Trump daring to warn Hillary Clinton he would raise Bill Clinton's "penchant for sexism" if he campaigns for her. Mitchell was so annoyed by it that she brought it up during three segments. -
First, with Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, she let out a loud sigh in highlighting Trump "attacking" Bill Clinton: "Are we going to get into an argument not only of sexism between Donald Trump and Bill Clinton but, eh, Donald Trump attacking Bill Clinton?"
Second, with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Mitchell raised her voice on the name "Bill Clinton" as she cited "this new attack" that Trump "has unleashed on Twitter against Bill Clinton campaigning for Hillary Clinton more actively in January?"
Third, an incensed Mitchell set up a panel segment: "What about Donald Trump? Going after Hillary Clinton, going after Bill Clinton? Does this work for him?"

Unfortunately, he'll have to burn it to the ground first to remove the stench from the current occupants.
I'm sure he will. Hillary has milked Bill's behavior to look like the loyal, but injured, wife in the past and I'm sure she'll be willing to do it now. It may well drive Trump's unfavorable among women even higher and motivate an already significant part of her base to get out and vote.
Right or wrong, he's not that kind of person.
No he's not. Trump is a narcissist. He cannot take criticism from any source without reacting, almost always in the form of a personal attack. Hillary calls him sexist, he responds by attacking her by bringing up Bill. Don't think the Clinton campaign hasn't consulted with psychiatrists on ways to use Trump's personality against him.
I don’t see how you can separate Bill from Hillary. They are a team. If you get one, you get the other.
Quoth Hillary (allegedly):
“I’m not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the president.”
many of them are dead and no longer matter
What is the answer to the fact that he is a sex criminal who paid Paula Jones close to a million dollars in a sexual harassment settlement. Pound it, pound it, and pound it some more. If the subject is the war on women, Billy Jeff, the bent sinkmeister, is Emperor Palpatine.
Who gives a crap?
Trump is what you say, but he’s very calculating, he’s very patient. To hear him talk this past weekend saying to Hillary, we need to be fair, we need to be honest for the good of the country, does not sound like it’s coming from someone unhinged. He says he’ll support Bush if he’s the winner because Bush is a good man. Etc.
Every time we underestimate him, he fools us. Maybe his handlers are having some impact, but the man is looking very presidential to me.
He’s a counter puncher.
No Marquis of Queensbury rules in this campaign! Apparently, Andrea thinks it’s OK to make fun of Ted Cruz’s daughters, but to attack Bill Clinton?!! Horrors!!
The concern from Trump haters is duly noted.
I happen to think that Ted Cruz's time is now.
We need a big broom to sweep out the stench. Cruz can't do it alone because too many people on the other side won't support him.
Oh and you think that Trump can attract that support? President Cruz will have the same problem a President Trump would have, a Congress where the leaders and the rank-and-file of both parties will mostly hate him. I think that Ted Cruz is better equipped to overcome that hate enough to have a better chance of getting his agenda through.
Sorry, I'm 100% for Trump. Would love some day to see a president Cruz, but not now.
And I think that a President Cruz is far more likely.
I'd like to see us all rally around one person soon.
Ted Cruz is ready when you are.
As are the comments of the Trump worshipers.
You’re funny.
I only worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Your hatred of Trump is on here 24/7.
I like Cruz, but he is a bit too cozy with Goldman Sachs who is a top 10 donor. Does that bother you at all?
And then he promptly attacks Hillary by attacking Bill.
He says he'll support Bush if he's the winner because Bush is a good man. Etc.
His contempt for Bush has been shown on far too many occasions already to believe that. He's saying that because he knows that Bush hasn't a chance of winning the nomination. One of the area I happen to agree with Trump on.
The more the media is pained by the Trumpster the better.
It is most enjoyable.
Newt was good at making the media squirm.
Trump makes them want to head for the shelters.
LOL
well stated. The Donald won’t retreat as others have when the MSM tries to provide air cover for their chosen. He will Nuke them and say “ I told you so”
So how about your blind, unquestioning support of Trump is on here 24x7? Is that better?
I like Cruz, but he is a bit too cozy with Goldman Sachs who is a top 10 donor. Does that bother you at all?
Not really, no. Cruz has a lot of contacts in the business world, as any Republican candidate would. Trump is on the record as calling Goldman "a fantastic firm. They make money but they put people to work. They raise tremendous amounts of capital." - Link. Trump is not my choice as candidate but I don't think he would be any more under the sway of Goldman Sachs as Ted Cruz would be.
That's one of the nicer things a Trumper has called me. But while I think I have a pretty good sense of humor, when it comes to Ted Cruz and my conviction that he is the one man this country needs as president at this time I am deadly serious.
Andrea, et al., believe Trump’s references to Hillary in regard to women are solely about Bill. There is probably no end to non-Bill issues to use when confronting PIAPS regarding her war on women. She pays her staff females less than the men in identical jobs. Someone just reminded me about her laughing about a 12-year-old girl’s rape. There are the women and children left without fathers, husbands, and sons after Benghazi.
Having a GOP candidate who cannot be intimidated by the MSM, Clinton Mafia, etc., will be almost like a little corner of Heaven on earth. At last... someone who will fight back.
‘’did she do ANY good in all her travels around the World as Secretary of State?’’
What is funny is watching man-on-the-street interviews with Hillary fans. When they’re asked to name one accomplishment, it’s deer in the headlights and crickets chirping. One said, “She was Secretary of State”. “No; that’s a title. Give me an accomplishment.” Can’t do it; there are none.
Andrea Mitchell's shocked people aren't running to Clinton's defense en masse like they use to... She's crossed the line into creepy.
