Several pillars of the Virginia Republican establishment have signed on with the flailing presidential campaign of Jeb Bush.
Thomas F. Farrell II, CEO of utility giant Dominion Resources, and Richard Cullen, chairman of the influential law firm McGuire Woods, have endorsed the former Florida governor, the campaign will announce Wednesday.
-snip-
Former House majority leader Eric Cantor joined the campaign as a co-chair in August, but new to the list are his longtime chief of staff Kristi Way and his right hand within the state party, Linwood Cobb.

He was until we Cantorized him.........
These folks have demonstrated that when that much power and money are at stake, they can do anything. When someone gets in their way (as Dick Obenshain did)...
The only thing that differentiates them from their Democrat buddies is that at least the Democrats acknowledge which side they’re playing for.
I assume they are talking about heavy hitters of the bong or bottle, because I can't conceive of anyone that wasn't stoned joining the Bush clown posse.
Taking the Zephir Express to Loserville! Allll Aaaaaboard!
I will never vote for Jeb. Never.
Our hope is that through our persistence, our diligence and our anger, supported by modern technology, their plans to join the socialist Democrats to "fundamentally transform" our beautifully designed Republic will be exposed and they will be crushed under the weight of their own duplicity and treachery!
You are personally not a loser. Cantor, Yeb and company. ..hit post to fast.
Discussions here on Free republic can help people learn about rekindling our freedom principles. But people do not know about freerepublic.com . I meet so many conservatives and ask them if they read Fr.com and they are like “what”?
Best way to help Trump is lead people here. Best way to lead them is get the word out to folks you know. Would be helpful I freerepublic could billboard advertise or internet advertise to people can get info hear, instead of the twisted media.
Lying may be part of it, but I think for those who genuinely go to America’s cesspool of Washington, D.C., they get it “explained” to them that they can forget about changing the system. If they become a pest, they’ll be squashed. And if that still doesn’t work, there’s always the, “You have a really nice family, Congressman Smith. Why it would be a REAL shame if something were to, y’know, happen to them.”
Anyone with a shred of economic and or social conservatism has been utterly shafted and backstabbed by the GOPe in Virginia including Mike Farris, who once ran for Lt. Governor there, in addition to the folks you mentioned.
That does it! Now that I know Thomas F. Farrell II has endorsed Jeb Bush, I’m switching from supporting Trump to supporting Jeb.
Have you checked out the net worth of people going to Washington, before and after? Almost all of them have vastly increased their net worth, by millions. They didn’t do that by saving their Congressional/Senate salaries.
Wait.....Yebbie is still in the race? Who knew?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
NO MORE JEB!
GO AWAY!
My Senator for example went from $2,700,000 in 2006 to $4,700,000 in 2014.

They are still backing Bush even now. Just goes to show they aren’t very bright strategists...wasting cash and time to the benefit ultimately of Hillary.
And also shows that apparently Rubio refusing twice to “wait his turn” and stand in line for Charlie Crist and Jeb Bush isn’t something they’ll forgive or forget so the money for the most part is going to continue flowing to Bush and their backup plan Kasich...both of which it should be obvious are abysmal failures. That’s beltway logic for you.
Sorry to bring reality into this, however...
However...
Nobody who supports amnesty for illegal aliens (yes, "pathway" slow-walks amnesty)...
and nobody who supports common core will ever generate enough interest on the our side to win a single state.
And...
THAT...
IS...
THAT!
