Sanders: Trump supporters should back me

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Sunday made an appeal to supporters of Donald Trump to back his candidacy for president instead.

The Vermont senator said he and Trump followers are mad about the same issues, but he - unlike Trump - has a plan to solve those problems.

"Look, many of Trump's supporters are working-class people, and they're angry," Sanders said on CBS's "Face the Nation." "And they're angry because they're working longer hours for lower wages. They're angry because their jobs have left this country and gone to China or other low-wage countries."

What pisses me off, is that NONE of the Republican candidates are defining Sanders and the other Democrats and explaining to the American people why their "solutions" have already been tried and have ALWAYS failed miserably.

Cruz, Trump, whoever - get out there and start telling people that Obama has been President for 7 years and start putting the blame on his policies. Start telling the truth that the minimum-wage law hurts the very people it's supposed to help, that we have unfair trade deals and how illegals are stealing jobs.

The one thing Sanders is right about, is that there are a whole lot of angry people, and they’re willing to roll the dice. That describes much of Sanders’ support, and it describes much of Trump’s support.
