BLAINE, Minn. (WCCO) â Some parents in the Anoka-Hennepin School District are questioning a choir teacherâs decision to use a song about Ramadan performed in Arabic at a holiday concert.
At Thursday nightâs concert at Blaine High School, one of the songs students will be singing includes Arabic words, including the phrase âAllahu Akbar,â which means âGod is great.â
Christian and Jewish songs will be performed as well, but the Ramadan song is getting all the attention.
It started with a post on Facebook. A parent of a ninth-grade Blaine choir student posted the lyrics to the song the choir has been practicing. When others learned students would be singing the song on Thursday, the comments took a turn.

This ping list is for the "other" articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
What I have to say about this might get me in trouble with law enforcement, or at least FR moderators. I’ll sum it up in one word, Chainsaw.
Amen.
No chants of “show” heil?
If I was a Buddhist or a Hindu I’d raise absolute hell.
.
There are two Ramadan celebrations. One for gifting and another for sacrificing.

“I’ll grab his legs.”
See Mark Wahlberg’s movies, from the one about being with his spotter, Danny.
The “good” teachers are as visible when these education outrages occur as the the so-called “good” Muslims when terrorism happens.
This stuff happens because thousands upon thousands of teachers **willingly** go to work every day and willingly choose to make the schools the Marxocrat cesspools that they are. No one is holding a gun to their heads forcing them to support, uphold, and establish the government school indoctrination camps. They do it for money.
Cleaning them out of positions of authority will be a Herculean task, like that of diverting a river as in the cleaning of the Augean stables..
The majority of muslims in America (61%) are first generation immigrants.
This is a post-2001 trend, this colonization. Assimilate? Nah.
Americans must CHANGE toward their worldview.
I loathe anti-Western Communists and their evil agenda.

Do the kids know all the words to "Be still my heart, O Quetzalcoatl"?
Allah Akbar does NOT translate to “God is great”. The more correct translation is “Allah is greater” which can have several meanings depending on use and context.
Allah is greater than your God
Allah is greater than me/man and my screw up (usually said after someone does something stupid like blowing themselves up accidentally)
Allah is greater than you
Allah is greater than natural consequences / fate (again said after an event like an earth quake or lighting strike, etc)
Since they worship Allah, the god of hate, rape, enslavement, war and murder, I believe that the best translation is “Satan is greater...”
“A spokesman for the district said the Arabic song will be sung during an audience participation portion of the concert.”
If I were in attendance, I would have to loudly BOOOO during the singing of the song.
That or set my phone to play Stryper’s To Hell with The Devil
Why not sing it like this:
Alahwahoo Whackbar!
Or Alalahooo Snackbar!
It’s a very ugly place where everything is backwards and upside down.
That would be the destruction of civilization at warp speed. The schools need to be abandoned instead.
what about all them KWANZAA Songs???
To ignore all them fine KWANZAA Songs MUST be Racess??
OMG! Thanks for the belly laughs.
