Levin said, “I am not going to defend reckless comments, where a candidate or candidates defend the poison that is the Republican establishment, especially [Sen.] Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in the United States Senate. I am not going to defend blowing out our federal budget subsidizing agribusiness and leftists with ethanol that screw up your engine and drive up the price of fuel and the price of corn. I am not going to defend an attack led by the media and the left trying to smear Antonin Scalia, who’s been on the Supreme Court for over 30 years, one of a handful of justices who’s trying save this republic because of one election cycle.”
He added, “I do not believe in cults of personalities, by the way the RINOs do.” Levin cautioned that he’s not endorsing anyone, but that the election is about the most conservative candidate to save the republic and the Constitution, which is the most important issue, and “a candidate who does not understand that we are losing this republic is a candidate that I can’t support.”
...
He then turned to ethanol, wondering, “why would anybody support that who runs as a Republican? Because they go Iowa? I thought that’s the problem, pandering.” He then declared, “I think my friend Donald Trump really screwed up this weekend, big time, trifecta. Joining in with a leftist on CNN to twist what Antonin Scalia said during a Supreme Court hearing on affirmative action, just joining in and dumping on him. He deserves better than that, a lot better than that. Embracing ethanol subsidies. If we can’t get rid of ethanol subsidies, ladies and gentleman, how we are going to address an over $200 trillion debt.…

Levin further argued that “populism without conservatism is liberalism. Even more precisely, populism without conservatism is Statism.”

Levin really screwed the goat tonight. He is finished!!
Pretty soon there will be no more conservatives, only Trump.
For Trump: “The beginning of the end.”
Enjoy your ethanol you mindless sheeple.
I think Trump outed himself. He’s outing his supporters at the same time. Just start dropping him in small amounts. No one will blame you for it.
anyone that wants ethanol in our engines is another money hungry Ahole!
Levin is a Rino?? Then so am I. A hell of a way to end a conservative movement. Wrecked on the shoals of populism and fanatic adherence to a flawed candidate.
Levin is not finished... not even close. Trump is not finished either, nor is Cruz.
LOL Apparently.
At least the McConnell Boehner wing of the party can call themselves conservative again.
The more Levin opens his mouth, the less credibility he has.
HAHAHAHA!!!
Anyone who doesn’t worship Trump “screwed the goat,” eh?
Care to explain why Trump is for ethanol subsidies, other than shameful pandering?
Care to explain why he’s attacking Cruz for refusing to join Mitch SurrenderMonkey McConnell is unconditional surrender to Obama?
Care to explain why he said he would do anything he could to make sure that Hillary Clinton became president?
Care to explain why he campaigned for single-payer health care?
Trump has always been the most cynical ass-licker that ever licked a Washington politicians ass. I was hearing him out, considering that maybe he finally decided that someone has to fix the system.
But he’s right back to licking liberals’ asses.
It's been obvious for some time that the underlying theme of Trump's campaign is big-government statism. "We're going to take care of everyone - Get used to it, conservatives!", the hand out war with Bush during the debate over who could spend the most money, proposing more "governmental programs" supposedly to help with student loans, pledging to enact an executive order to mandate sentences (this flies in the face of both federalism and separation of powers), praise of single-payer healthcare and his own 'universal' healthcare proposal - "the government will pay for it!", etc.
Even Iowa can’t pass an ethanol mandate.
Its a lot more popular in DC than with anyone else.
Sooooo - none of these criticisms are valid? None of this matters? It doesn’t give you a glimpse into a man who was a mushy, big government, leftist until 2 years ago?
If someone acts like a liberal, talks like a liberal, attacks Antonin Scalia and Ted Cruz like a liberal, then he’s a liberal. Donald Trump is a liberal.
Which means that if Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh continue to support Donald Trump, then they’re liberals, too.
Steve Deace had a great Tweet today:

@SteveDeaceshow
“I think we found out where the conspiratorial bent of the Ron Paul movement went”
@DannyBritton256 “do Trump supports actually believe the stuff they say? If so please lock them back up.”
Add this to Rush’s commentary and admision that the majority of Trump’s supporters are NOT conservative, and the wheels on the Trump train are starting to come off.
Those 2 calls Rush took today were also exemplary. Rush was showing that there’s a swatch of Trump support that truly doesn’t care what Trump says or does as the callers were attacking Rush for pointing out that Trump was using leftist tactics to go after Cruz, something no real conservative would advocate.
+1
Well put.
The red flag that we should have never lost the sight of was all the way back at the Phoenix rally when he lectured “you conservatives” that “We’re going to take care of everybody - get used to it, conservatives!” Then you dig further into his long, consistent history of ultra liberalism - supporting the Obama stimulus (porkulus). Supporting TARP. Supporting Kelo v. Connecticut. Etc, etc.
