Republican presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says GOP front-runner Donald Trump is doing so well in the polls because nearly half of Republican primary voters think President Obama is a Kenyan-born Muslim.
“Well there’s about 40 percent of the Republican primary voter who believes that Obama was born in Kenya and is a Muslim,†Graham told Boston Herald Radio on Friday, according to BuzzFeed News.
“There’s just a dislike for President Obama that is visceral. It’s almost irrational,†Graham added. Graham said Trump will not get 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency if he doesn’t grow support with the Hispanic community.

Our Congress is full of sanctimonious gray haired old men like Lindsey who have long since outlived their credibility and become hopelessly mired in irrelevance, corruption and embarrassment which in Lindsey’s case is best evidenced by his 0 % poll rating.
The only thing left for Lindsey is to get caught in a bathroom stall in some airport somewhere like that “other guy” did. When that happens, MAYBE the people of South Carolina will awaken from their front porch snooze and not vote for him again.

It seems like he knows how to prevent Cantorization. He loads up the field with cash from whomever he works for, then wins narrowly. I don’t know. What do I know? I do know these guys, especially him, do not work for their constituents yet they get voted in every time.

Otherwise, why does a fairly conservative Southern state continue to return Graham to DC?
