Graham Accuses GOP Voters of Racism: ‘Visceral,’ ‘Irrational’ Hatred of Obama

Republican presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says GOP front-runner Donald Trump is doing so well in the polls because nearly half of Republican primary voters think President Obama is a Kenyan-born Muslim.
“Well there’s about 40 percent of the Republican primary voter who believes that Obama was born in Kenya and is a Muslim,†Graham told Boston Herald Radio on Friday, according to BuzzFeed News.
“There’s just a dislike for President Obama that is visceral. It’s almost irrational,†Graham added. Graham said Trump will not get 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency if he doesn’t grow support with the Hispanic community.

Obama is a man. I have no hatred for him; I pity him as I would pity King Saul, or Edward III, or Neville Chamberlain.
I do, however, a viscerally felt, but purely rational hatred of essentially every political and ethical stance he has ever taken. The visceral part of the hatred is a reflection of the deep love I have for the ideals that are embodied in the founding documents of this country, and the zealousness of that love results in hatred for all false ideals that would come against them.
