'They want a puppet that they can control, Donald will never be that person'
Although Donald Trump has signed a pledge to support the Republican Party's nominee, that doesn't mean the party's establishment will support him, should he win the GOP presidential nod.
A report by the Hill suggests the big money Republican donors are actually looking to support Hillary Clinton for commander in chief if Trump is at the top of the GOP ticket. Yes, the Democrat Hillary Clinton could be getting millions of dollars from Republicans.
The website says: "In conversations over the past month, GOP establishment donors have confided to the Hill that for the first time in recent memory, they find themselves contemplating not supporting a Republican nominee for president."
When asked for whom he would cast his vote if the choices are only Mrs. Clinton and Trump, the former mayor of Los Angeles and a longtime Republican establishment figure, Dick Riordan, said: "I would probably go find a deserted island."

And played Democrat race games to do it.
Time to run the elites out of the country.
In simpler times, it might bring charges of treason.
Sounds like they’re worried about Cruz taking Iowa..
Good Move by Joe Kovack and WND who are staunch Trumpeters But even Jeb Bush says he’d support Trump if he’s selected. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3366144/posts
They backed Obama so I really don’t see much of a threat here. Just the same old, same old.
A1: if he wins the nom, which I’m not convinced he will, the uniparty throws its support behind piaps. Probably a unity ticket of some sort. If by some miracle DT is elected then he’ll be sandbagged from minute one. CONgress, the courts, the media, and the bureaucracy. Upshot, he gets nowhere.
A2: on the pessimistic side, tyranny. But I’m not a pessimist. I think that the same forces that are pushing us toward self governance continue. So we end up self governing.
Doesn’t matter...Even Joe Blow Republican out on the street who has voted for McCain or Romney or Dole is not going to switch Parties because some hacks in Washington tell him to...They’ll hold their noses and vote for Trump just to keep Hillary out of the office...
I think they have been rather open about it when you look at their public actions.
the peoblem IMO is that people that always voted GOP are too prideful/ashamed to admit they were wrong, And the GOP counted on that. Rove said it himself. “Where they gonna go?”
Look at FR, the supposedly conservative side of the web. Look how many people STILL DEMAND we elect GOP no matter what after they funded PP, Funded terrorists, Funded all Obama’s major goals, gave up their power to stop him wholesale, rigged the voting so that they would always lose or benefit Barry and the rest. It’s all there for anyone with the guts to look at it head on. It does not hide.
So when you see ‘Freepers’ in name only talk about lesser evil voting and ‘no matter what’ crap, you know you are looking at a Uniparty stooge. Their words are pretty open about their loyalty but again, people need to have the guts to accept that their online buddy is working his or her ass off to continue the power and control of the Uniparty.
I said it a long time ago. They will run Hill and Jeb/Rubio/Romney against Trump/Cruz.
So the GOP thinks they can control Hillary?
_____________________________
It’s not about being able to control Hillary, it’s about the GOP keeping the status quo & their brand. A Trump nomination threatens to make the existence of the GOP irrelevant.
Is this what you're talking about?
TRUMP, DONALD J NEW YORK,NY Trump Organization 10/6/10 $50,000 American Crossroads
Charles Hendrickson- Who are you supporting, for nomination?
The Hill is a left-wing mouthpiece. This is more propaganda.
Cruz, the conservative. How about you?
Oh yeah. This is old news to the discerning FReeper. The only real disagreements seem to be over what to do about it.
Some advocate finding and voting for a true conservative. The small but growing caucus that I agree with is for walking away from a hopeless and corrupt electoral system. Neither approach is mutually exclusive. I suspect there will be instances where both approaches are shown to work.
This is precisely why conservatives need to pull together and support any true conservative..quit the infighting and counterproductive sniping.
Let’s get it right this time...don’t let them have another four years!
