Saying if people are injured-—to come to their doors so police can get to them; advise people not to move from rooms until building is cleared......
Please remain in place, but if injured come towards the doors.

I’m in Colorado Springs, and our local news says the report that the shooter has been captured was heard on police scanners and hasn’t been officially confirmed.
We have contact with parties—advise them we will knock three times on door
Dispatch says they have no contact with those parties....
still people inside of rooms will know on door 3 times and they know it’s us. we will bring them out.
Well good now if he voted Obama twice we can all watch how fast the story gets buried.

Kudos to CSPD.
They were deliberate and made sure they didn’t harm any innocents, even when they were being shot at.
Passed up at least a couple opportunities to engage the bad guy but didn’t out of concern for the innocents.
Praying for the wounded officers and people, and wishing them a hot meal and cup o joe after a long, cold, day.
“Stand by. We’ll talk to anybody who is in there.”
Local social media has been saying the shooter is Sam Hyde, don’t know if it is true.
My BIL the retired deputy sheriff, who lost his mind a couple of years ago and became a capitalism-hating, illegal-immigrant-loving loony, referred to the shooter hours ago as a “crazy right-wing gun nut.” I would so love it if he turned out to be wrong. They’re going to have a press conference with the police in a few minutes.
That is the big question- the perp’s ID. Nothing yet.
