I think the lack of info on this today is the WH and the media fashioning their own narrative about what happened.
Thought of it about a decade ago when I came up with a sci-fi short story about a murder scene with 3 sets of DNA found at the crime scene with no bodies. At that time the DNA was used to create their images and a man and a woman were identified but the second woman was unknown. Her DNA showed that it was the child of the identified woman. “They” have created software that will make a 3D image.

This of course does not fit the white right wing extremist narrative- the pic shows someone who is either actively psychotic and/or totally drugged out on psychotropic or street drugs. Mentally ill for sure.

Colorado Springs Gazette seems to have a decent “live” analysis of the incident though it seems the events didn’t really get attention until the suspect holed up at Planned Parenthood, one of the civilians was shot outside of “Elite Vision”, a glasses shop.
It was literally the first comment on most of their websites.
LOL, nope. I’m a visual learner (artist) and while my mother, brother, and niece are prolific writers, I am not. Not disciplined.
I just read an ad for that the other day and thought it was pretty scary having someone else have my dna on file.
yep, right after my kids got the kit for me as a gift, i read an article about ancestry.com-dna-kit and how ancestry violated confidentiality by providing dna to a police department. (the guy terrorized by the breach wasn’t guilty of a thing IIRC, they thought it was his cousin)
Also, now that this guy will be evaluated, if he goes to trial, he can say anything for his defense to try to get a lighter sentence. So he doesn’t have a real internet footprint we know about, the reporters will go to his little town to try to find out about him I’m sure but as of now, we know nothing. Chances are, he will be evaluated as insane actually.
