A new campaign is underway by Republican establishment operatives to take out Donald Trump and ensure he's not the candidate of choice for the GOP - and the billionaire front-runner has taken to Twitter to call out the lead player as a "wacko" with few funding friends.
Trump described the operation this way on Twitter over the weekend: "A woman who got fired after two days of working with Scott Walker - a wacko - now trying to raise funds to fight me."
He was referring to Liz Mair, a brief former campaign worker for Walker's presidential push, who's now heading up Trump Card LLC. The Wall Street Journal reported on a memo that included Mair's expressed concern of "the stark reality is that unless something dramatic and unconventional is done, Trump will be the Republican nominee and Hillary Clinton will become president."
Trump's also firing a warning shot at the Republican National Committee about the effort to harm his candidacy, referencing the Journal's article and tagging the RNC's official Twitter account, @GOP, in his complaint.
"@WSJ reports that @GOP getting ready to treat me unfairly--big spending planned against me," Trump tweeted. "That wasn't the deal!"
In September, Trump signed a pledge not to run as an independent. He said at the time he was given the "assurance that I would be treated fairly" by RNC chairman Reince Priebus in return for agreeing to the "deal."

Trump is opening up a re-negotiating phase of the contract he signed.
Well, actually the GOPe opened it, he is making sure.
This won’t end up well for the GOPe, but Trump will gain another couple points.
Trump will win the GOP nomination whether the GOPe attack him or not.
But it could hurt him, so Trump is right to try to head it off.

No.
Only Trump was asked to sign.
Not the case, he has one of the biggest support groups around and we are loud and we are strong in support of our candidate...
So the GOPe is going to go against one of their candidates because they can't deliver (Jeb) to run against shillary so she can take the Rainbow Hut...and they can't run anyone against Trump that will knock him out...so what are they going to do?
If Trump takes the nomination, and they don't support him, they lose...and their jobs are gone...which would be alright with me, the GOPe are nothing but corruption anyway...
So just what is it that these people are going to do? Want to bet, Trump has this figured out, and is way ahead of their brainless plan!!!
If they pull any cr@p, then run as an independent.
“Trump will make Hillary President” is code for “I’ll vote for Hillary over Trump”
The very ones demanding Trump and Conservatives sign loyalty pledges, commit to supporting the eventual nominee and refrain from running “sore loser” 3rd Party candidacies would never abide by such loyalty oaths themselves.
At that point it doesn`t matter because there would be absolutely no difference what so ever between the republicRATs and the democRATS, eff`em all!
If anyone could win 3rd party it would be Trump. Also GOPe doesn’t care if Hillary wins...just as long as Trump doesn’t win...and they will use all means to stop him.
Of all people, Trump is one you don’t want to stab jn the back on a deal.
Here’s a thought— when Trump wins the GOP nomination would the GOPee pukes pull a dirty and either not vote in the general election or secretively vote for Hellary? And if so are there enough of them to make a difference in the vote tally? Surely some GOPee pukes will vote for Trump too but just a thought to consider.
The hardcore Conservative base is what they need to worry about. I`ll never vote ‘lesser of two evils’ again!
The Republicans can’t seem to do anything right.
At first they claimed it was because they didn’t have control of Congress.
Then they got control of the House and what did they do? They’ve been supporting everything Obama wants.
The RNC doesn’t deserve to have control. They’re not smart enough.

What is the GOP but a PAC of rich corrupt b@st@rds? There are many other PACs that are really conservative. We can give our money to PACs that are pro-life, pro-borders or any issue that you want. You can support the candidates the YOU want to support. Not the bought-and-paid for corruptocrats like McConnell and Boehner. The GOP has basically thrown us out in the snow. Good. Who needs them?
I agree and believe you can count that as a given!
