Donald Trump told Fox News after the last debate in Milwaukee that he was in a "diplomatic" phase of his campaign. No longer. This Washington Post report of Trump's rally in Iowa last night is a must read. Trump's popularity has always been based in part on his entertaining qualities. But apparently his audience wound up seeing a darker side last night.

You think it is just National Review or John Fund that thinks Trump has gone off the rails? The conservative pile-on is widening and growing in intensity.
Yeah, I think he went too far with that one. It left me with the impression that he was desperate to distance himself from Carson.
I hope it gets Trump entreated to be more respectful of Christian practices. Less on the Starbucks cups. More on the wonders of what the child of Christmas can do, has done, and will do.
NR “endorses” Trump again. Bump in the polls?
John Fund has always struck me as a cake boy
And I’m being mean cause he’s GOPe
He IS faggy acting
I can him just hear him squealing in delight in that nasally voice and pursed lips
Pursed lips are usually a tell
National Review is on the way out like the GOPelites
Probably the only subscribers/readers on FR are the wretched Trump Haters, who post the anti Trump BS like this GOPe hit piece posing as an op ed.
This article is true. I’m 100% Trump, still am but he almost looked like he had a breakdown last night. He needs to start resting between gigs and not play Superman or he’s going to blow it. As is, I’m terrified to see next Iowa poll.
Beginning to think the elites don’t like Trump???
Pray America wakes
And you need to open your eyes and see what is going in this country and thru out the western world. Are you aware of the Islamic/African invasion of Europe that is currntly taking place? Are you aware of the genocidal murder of Cristians going on in North Africa and the Middle East? Are you aware of the global Islamic “holly war” against all things western? Are you aware of the fact that the US is being over run by invaders from all over the world? In past elections you might have a point, but this election you don’t. The globalists want to destroy us and they are succeeding. Every candidate except Trump is owned by the globalists.
Trump’s nomination as president and his winning the election is a certainty if the markets collapse between now and election day.
The markets collapsing and at the same tome the economy collapsing are at 90% odds. Should that happen president Trump is a certainty.
Trump knows this!
Hogwash. Take a deep breath and grab back onto reality. Cruz is not owned by Globalists.
Idolization of any candidate is unAmerican.
Well that's the promise of Christ, isn't it?
We are all less than, but we're not trapped there.
Trump's vulgar disregard of sincere faith, and Carson is the epitome of sincere, is telling.
Sadly, the WSJ has jumped the shark as well. It’s too bad, really.
Off course he is, did you miss his vote in favor of giving O fast track authority for the globalist Trans Pacific Partnership. If that is not a globalist deal then I don’t know what is. Increase visa 500% for his globalist billionaire donors isn’t being a globalist? Plus he was until just the other day Rubio (Globalist) lite on immigration. And then there is his vote to reauthorize the unconstitutional Patriot Act. Only a globalist tool would be handing out teddy bears and soccer balls to the illegals as they cross over our southern border. Oh and let not forget, because the Rats definitely will not forget, that Cruz was born in Canada to a Canadian father and only recently (2012) renounced his Canadian citizenship.
There are an awful lot of people in this country that just love shark jumping, hence Trump.
Trump is not afraid to say what is on his mind, sometimes his thoughts are not pretty, I can live with that.
I don’t know her personally, but she does have some good ideas. She just doesn’t care for Donald Trump. She is not a retard. I don’t care for a lot on the candidate stage, but I’d never degrade their intellect.
Until some other candidate emerges who can speak credibly on the immigration issue, there will be no stopping Trump.
Oh, the latest National Review anti-Trump editorial. I’d almost forgotten about this staple.
I’m not a Trump fan but this is becoming pathetically predictable from them. At least it’s not every day anymore. I guess that’s some progress.
