Great job Trump Team Virginia. Virginia is the second hardest state to qualify for ballot placement (hardest is Illinois). While the Trump team needed 5,000 signatures, plus 200 per congressional district (11), team Trump submitted 15,000 signatures which were verified and validated !!
Donald Trump is now the first, and so far only, candidate to reach these challenging VA qualifications. The remaining campaigns have less than a month remaining to qualify. The primary date is scheduled for March 1st.
RVA PRESS RELEASE - The Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) is pleased to announce that Donald Trump is the first Republican candidate to submit signatures for "pre-check" review by the RPV and are ready for submission to the State Board of Elections, well ahead of the December 10, 2015 deadline.

All true. Trump could fix illegal immigration while backing drug legalization, a position he’s had in the past. Would he be Conservative then?
That’s all I’m saying here. Conservatism has a definition. Trump has his own beliefs. They coincide on many things - many IMPORTANT things- but not on everything. Expecting him to be a rock-solid conservative is setting yourself up for disappointment.
I think he’s a guy whose every decision will flow from the fact that he LOVES his country. When he makes decisions they will not be on the orders from people who donate to him or from the line of thinking that we need to be fundamentally transformed. His decision making process will stem from love of country. With few exceptions, the rest of the candidates running cannot say the same.
That’s why I am supporting him.
Sooooooo, if they can “verify and validate” sigs for qualification to be on the ballot, we can “verify and validate” actual voters....right?
I’d like to add this to your excellent piece.
It’s something I wrote a while back and post from time to time.

As someone about Trumps age, I find it easy to believe his explanation as to why he’s running.
I’ve agonized over the America we are leaving for my own children and grandchildren to live in and raise their families in. Most Freepers here probably feel the same way.
America hardly resembles the one I grew up in. It’s but a shadow of its former self, with freedoms, successes, and with respect from our friends, and fear of us by our enemies, all but non-existent.
Trump said he was running so that his family wouldn’t look at him, knowing he could have fixed it, but didn’t.
His own story of building the Trump Organization shows that he knows how to build great empires. Now he wants to make all of America great again.
I think we are but the lucky side beneficiaries.
Actually, the 5000 is the correct total. Of those 5000, 200 of them must be from each district. I am a volunteer here in VA and Dena, Trumpâs Virgina coordinator was amazing. Itâs not surprising we got so many signatures quickly. She wanted them fast because she sent them to a company to validate signatures BEFORE she submitted to VA Board. That way she would be confident there would be not rejections.
Perfect! This is great news to have Virginia preliminary rules already met, all nicely polished and put away, by the Trump campaign!
That makes perfect sense, doesn’t it, for Trump to be so pragmatic and expeditious to get his required signatures at rallies! We always hear of other candidates tromping through the woods and neighborhoods, on the ground, to dig up their quota of signatures.
Trump has them come to him!
THAT is stunning professionalism in this day and age! What a woman!
Thank YOU for your service as a volunteer! You’re a real soldier, youself. Thanks for the interesting anecdote.
Just curious. How many rallies did he have in Virginia? How many districts? Are they large areas like countries or smaller like precincts ?

So far, I know he’s rallied in Richmond and Norfolk.
When I attended the Norfolk rally, I signed the ballot petition. They had separate sheets for each county. Many people with clipboards.
I believe he has had 2 rallies in Va
Trump can’t win! He not a serious candidate! He has no ground game /s
North and South would pretty well cover the state. If not enough signatures from one area then a quick trip to gather up needed would finish the job.
Now having Ralleys in Virginia makes sense. GEEEEEENIUS ( and a lot of hard work by volunteers — thanks)
Good points.
I believe every word of that. That makes more sense than anything else I’ve heard about the man.
But he has no ground game. Come onnnnn!
LOL
That’s what we keep being told....Trump has no ground game....from the naysayers right here.
Those that said Trump had no ground game were uninformed. I have heard his team is fully engaged.
Wow, that’s good inside information. This is an efficient organization — no real surprise there, is it.
Efficient before scheduled and under budget. His team needs to emphasis these attributes as much as possible
I will probably be slammed for this but I don’t know that a “rock solid” conservative is what we need at this juncture.
We need someone, who as you say, loves this country and puts it and it’s citizens first.
We need someone who believes in law and order and is willing to hold law breakers accountable.
We need someone who has no time for political correctness.
We need someone who will protect the rights of Christians, no matter his personal beliefs.
We need someone who will go over the heads of the political class in Washington and communicate with the people.
We need someone who is a pragmatist rather than an ideologue.
People of the country, whether democrat voter or republican voter, are tired of the divisiveness and tired of giving our money and our country away.
We need someone who can turn what is upside down; right- side up again.
When that is done, there will be time and momentum for educating the public on true conservatism.
I strongly believe that if we can get Trump the nomination the general will be a landslide of epic proportions.
