MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Major League Baseball player Jose Reyes, the shortstop for the Colorado Rockies, was arrested on Halloween after allegedly assaulting his wife in their Maui hotel room, sources say.
Reyes and his wife, Katherine, were allegedly arguing in their Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea room that afternoon.
His wife told responding officers that Reyes grabbed her off the bed and shoved her. Sources say she also told police that he grabbed her throat and shoved her into the sliding glass balcony door.
Security called police and Reyes was arrested for abuse of a family or household member. He was released on bail.

Perhaps a little ease-off on the steroids might be a good idea.
He was the spark plug for the Mets for 7 or 8 years. Then he went to the Blue Jays and the Marlins before playing 47 games this year for the Rockies. If I was in the front office of the Rockies, I’d be pissed.
Big question is did they finish their vacation together?

Great hotel! Their pool has a “water elevator”. You slide down all the water slides to the bottom. Then get into the elevator that is basically a tube that fills with water and raises you back to the top to do it again!

Older pictures show his neck much narrower than his head. The mug shot shows it as wide as his head - maybe wider.
Perhaps someone should suggest he cuts down on the steroids.
Reyes on Red Dead Redemption was just a video game character, not one of whom he was supposed to emulate.
Sounds like Jose spent sometime at the gray bar hotel too, but I doubt it was as fun as what you described...

Man, if he did what she said he did he aint to brite. I have never raised a hand against my wife. Her first marriage wasn’t that way. So when we first got married Mrs. Fella told me that I could slap her and beat her but that I had better remember that I would have to sleep sometime. Her being a country girl from out of the Boston mountains of Arkansas plus a green eyed redhead, I totally believe her.
In his environment beating your wife is okay, he should claim he is a Muslim and then he could even chop off her head and the press and police would look the other way...
