Apparently Nate Silver Has Just Discovered The GOPe Splitter Strategy….

We have exhaustively outlined the GOPe road map to insure the nomination of Jeb Bush for the Republican Presidential Candidate in 2016. While the road map is rather complex, it essentially boils down to a strategy of small accumulated delegate pickups using 15-20% electoral support.

GOP candidates 3

Candidates George Pataki and Jim Gilmore have already been disqualified from the Alabama Primary, yet they remain in the race. Only a handful of candidates (Bush, Trump, Cruz and to a lesser extent Rubio & Fiorina) have efforts underway to qualify for ballot placement in all of the states with primary dates prior to April 1st 2016.

Donald Trump is the only candidate currently qualified for Virginia and time is running short for a rather complex qualification process. Bush and Cruz are also expected to qualify (5,000 signatures w/ 200 from each congressional district).

Kasich and Fiorina are focused on New Hampshire; Chris Christie also appears to be making an effort in New Hampshire. However, nothing exists beyond Iowa for Jindal and Carson; and Illinois/Virginia are extremely complex qualification processes.

Again, this begs the question, why are all of the candidates without ground operations and infrastructure running?

Very perceptive. I have waned Cruzers that all the good press (”Cruz has a real chance at winning”) was GOPe propaganda to line him up if and when Gentle Ben fails to take out Trump. Then, once Cruz was set up, they would unleash hell and Rubio would ride in to save the day. To me, the ONLY counter to this was to get Trump nominated early, work the deal for Cruz as VEEP or (preferably) AG/USSC when the vacancy is there, and thus crush the GOPe wing once and for all.

If the nominee isn’t either Trump or Cruz, I will just vote for Hillary. She’ll get the civil war started.

Totally agree. And I would add that, as much as I like Cruz, I don’t think he could win the general even if he somehow managed to get the nomination.

The Donald is the perfect anti-Rovian storm. The sum of all fears for the GOPe crowd.

There is zero chance of Yeb!!! dropping out now. He still has tens of millions in super-pac support money and millions in pre-bought TV adverts to come.

No hack politician has ever dropped out when he has millions left to burn through. Its the nature of the irresponsible beast. When they get elected things change to where they irresponsibly burn through your tax dollars.

I've predicted that Ben Carson will be polling single digits by Christmas 2015 ...

Nice guy ... but certainly a lousy "Conservative" ...

The thought just occurred to me, if the GOPe-Bush-Rubio-Kasisch-RINO-Hillary crowd wanted to "coerce-shame" the Republican Conservative candidates (Ted, Cruz, Donald Trump) ...

to support:

1) Citizenship for 15 million illegal Mexican immigrants

2) Soft on Second Amendment gun rights

3) Becoming "best friends" with Al Sharpton and the Black Lives Matter movement

4) Puerto Rico statehood (two automatics Democratic Senators for the next 100 years)

5) SPLIT the Tea Party Christian Evangelical vote 35/35/35 between Ted Cruz / Huckabee / Ben Carson

6) "Stealth Engagement" of the Democratic Party LGBT folks to "severely disrupt" the GOP Presidential Primaries to HELP Yeb Bush and Marco Rubio

... what better way than to "plant-fund" and inflate polling data for a WONDERFUL ...

(no criticism allowed) Black Medical Doctor (with a very big ego) ?

Would such a plan even be imagined ? "Nope"

Would such a plan even be possible ? "Nope"

Would such a plan even be planned and executed ? "Nope"

Would such a plan include a Hollywood Movie ("Gifted Hands") promoting (years in advance) the "compassionate Savior" of the Republican Party ? "Nope"

/sarcasm-off

I have a few friends working as poli sci people.

They keep telling me that
1. Trump can not be allowed to win no matter what (would disrupt to much of the GOP machinery)

2. Jeb will be the likely nominee. If he doesn’t get the popular vote, the convention can be “adjusted”.

I told them both if #2 happens, the GOP will end.

Saw John Sununu on TV and he said he cant believe whats happening..ref. to Trump. He said “somethiong will cange all that”. I want to be ahead of the game and so far I have found out how the GOP will destroy Trump.

Trump may have more info on this as time goes by.

No doubt the GOPe minions in Virginia will find things wrong with half of Cruz's signatures - and they'll "discover" the irregularities after the deadline for getting new ones. Meanwhile, Bush's signatures will be pitch-perfect.

It's the Richmond GOP's MO. I think Trump's got too many for the GOPe to throw out; we'll see.

Exactly, which 8 states does Yeb win? So, how can his name be presented for nomination?

Great question.
