China Burns Much More Coal Than Reported
New York Times - CNBC ^ | 03 November 2015 | Chris Buckley

China, the world's leading emitter of greenhouse gases from coal, is burning far more annually than previously thought, according to new government data. The finding could vastly complicate the already difficult efforts to limit global warming.

Even for a country of China's size and opacity, the scale of the correction is immense. China has been consuming as much as 17 percent more coal each year than reported, according to the new government figures. By some initial estimates, that could translate to almost a billion more tons of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere annually in recent years, more than all of Germany emits from fossil fuels.

Officials from around the world will have to come to grips with the new figures when they gather in Paris this month to negotiate an international framework for curtailing greenhouse-gas pollution. The data also pose a challenge for scientists who are trying to reduce China's smog, which often bathes whole regions in acrid, unhealthy haze.

This hurts the Earth, and the only way the scales can be balanced will be to totally deindustrialize the United States. And raise our taxes.

And, send our cash to little islands in the Pacific, sure to be inundated with water from a rising ocean.
Give...give till it hurts.

Thank you.

And there is absolutely nothing that anyone can do about it!

“NEENER NEENER NEENER, YA YA YA YA, EAT THIS WORLD!” (China)

This has the greenhouse gang and the libs crapping their pants. I love it!

Let’s show our hypocrisy by selling them our coal! Maybe cancel the huge debt we owe the Chinese. This is a play that could never be dreamed up in real life. Is it real or just a dream, there is nothing in between.

Chin and India want the US to pay the greenhouse gas bill...for them. ‘Climate justice.’

That way, they can continue to make us pay for their economies.

Yet, they open 1 coal-fired plant every two weeks between the two of them.

And people in the big cities in China have to wear masks to keep from inhaling so much smog.

China has narural coal seam fires that produce more CO2 than all US vehicles per year.

In China, though, the main concern regarding coal fires is not environmental, but economic. “China’s coal fires destroy millions of tons of coal every year,” says Carsten Drebenstedt, a surface mining professor from Technische Universitat Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany who has studied the fires. In fact, the country’s coal fires consume 20 million tons of coal annually and render ten times that amount inaccessible.

So we could cut our CO2 emissions just by hiring some Chinese accountants?

The scumbag communists do what they will while polluting the earth, but everyone looks to America to pay both for what little we pollute, as well as clean up after the rest of the sleaze who don’t care. Looking at you, too, Russia!
