Carson In 1999: White People “Have No Grasp” On History Of Racial Violence In U.S
BuzzFeed ^

Posted on 10/25/2015 11:35:04 AM PDT by TigerClaws

In his 1999 book, Dr. Ben Carson wrote that our nation’s history on racial injustices made it impossible for the black community to think of the judicial system in anything but racial terms and that white Americans were only able to view racial violence in a modern context.

In his book, The Big Picture, released by Zondervan, Carson argued white Americans had “no grasp on the history of racial violence in this country.” Carson wrote of a time his mother was thrown in jail for a minor traffic violation as an example of personal history of the racial injustice in criminal justice system.

Finally, to answer my own theory, is just as it was in 2012 the same as now, a popular black who urges other minorities to step away from their own self-imposed ghettos and do something,to change their lives themselves from within (like Bill Cosby any one), MUST be taken out!!!

You don't think the dirt on Cosby was never known before he began going around speaking to minority groups and telling them to stop buying their kids $200 shoes and start buying them successful reading and math programs so they can learn something!

Take a look at two other blacks who threaten the establishment theory of the role of "the Negro," Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas.

I once laid the entire blame on on the smears on them on the vicious liberals with their double standards. I now know better, it has never been only the liberal Democrats/Socialists, it is both sides of the establishment as there aren't two sides with the establishment, there is but one; the other side is US!

To go way back in history, it was both party power brokers who advanced the theory of Eugenics, blacks were inferior, needed to be controlled and not allowed to out breed whites regardless of the means involved!

To go back to Cosby, he was left alone with full knowledge of his "sins" out there to the cocktail set. His antics were accepted as "normal" in the entertainment business until another minority was rising to power by making shocking conservative statements, challenging the power brokers, Dr. Ben Carson.

The result: Carson was removed from his position at John's Hopkins, Cosby's sexual exploits were highlighted in the MSM, as the media just now learned about what a sexual deviant Cosby has always been!

Get real, folks, Hollywood and the left who embrace and champion Bruce Jenner's pathetic perversion; had no problem with Romanski's rape of a drugged child; have no problems with Jesse Jackson's and Al's children born out of their affairs; the left only becomes "shocked and offended" when the dig up dirt on those they can't threaten into silence, lest they become role models for minorities!

I will vote for Carson if he is the GOP nominee.

However, I am very skeptical about his political skills, about his leadership skills, and about how passionately he believes - and how passionately he will defend - Conservative principles.

The Conservative appeal of Donald Trump remains a complete mystery to me - except for his campaign promise to deport illegal immigrants.

Trump voted for Clinton in 1992 and 1996, and Trump called Clinton the best president in Trump’s life time.

In 2000, Trump actively sought the presidential nomination from Ross Perot’s Reform Party.

In 2004 Trump briefly sought the Democrat nomination, then dropped out and supported John Kerry.

In 2006 Trump briefly sought the Democrat nomination for governor of New York.

In 2011 Trump briefly sought the GOP nomination, then dropped out and supported Mitt Romney.

I just don’t understand how Conservatives can believe anything Trump says.

He is also a strong proponent of forced vaccinations with no religious exemptions. Wonder how he will respond to the coming “mark of the beast”?

See?

That’s exactly why I can’t give him a chance.

Some people are saying we have a great lineup on the GOP side, but to me it’s really slim pickings.

Every last one of them has some kind of major flaw.

Most of them have an extremely long list of them.

Trump or Cruz.

I can’t stand any of the others.

My son wants to vote for Carson.

The only reason I’m not having fits about it is I really doubt he’ll be the nominee.

He’s just another anybody but Trump or Cruz vote.

I have expected this or something like it to come out for a long time now.

I think Carson is just another plant. Never did trust him.

The Manchurian Candidate II.

No thanks.

No sale.

Ben has no grasp of what it's like to be a woman, of any race.

I'm sick of guys like him speaking about what other people feel or think or know or how white people should be feeling guilty of some shit they had nothing to do with.
Too smart by half and entitled to every thing.

No one would challenge a police officer...

Just a simple reading of the news reveals that attempts to correct errant behavior is often met with unrestrained charges of racism...similar to disagreement with "The One" Obama

What the hell is this idiot talking about now?

I lived thru the period of Wallace, seen him shot, seen how the blacks were being treated...how the KKK went after them...

I studied how they would ‘underground’ up to the North, how they were treated like dirt....

And this dip wad is trying to re write history? We were that part of history a-hole...

You need to quit trying to divide the people, and helping obuma and Sharpton, this is your whole cause, this is the ONLY reason your running for POTUS....NO OTHER REASON!!!

How dare you!!!

Ben Carson is a moron.
I don’t care about anything on his resume.

I’ll stay home if he’s the nomination.
(which he will NEVER be)

Carson argued white Americans had “no grasp on the history of racial violence in this country.” Carson wrote of a time his mother was thrown in jail for a minor traffic violation as an example of personal history of the racial injustice in criminal justice system.

This is becoming clearer as a personal thing.
Granted, most "whites" are profoundly ignorant, of injustices to blacks, just as blacks are equally ignorant of the atrocities committed by blacks since reconstruction, exercising their new-found freedom. The history of blacks burning down their own neighborhoods is a long and old one too. Dwelling on it just keeps an old wound raw.

Ignorance is pervasive, and enough of it to go around. Until the black community deals with their grossly disproportionate rate of criminal behavior, things are certainly going to get worse.

It is a race war they want? Sure seems that way. From the First grossly divisive president, his criminal henchmen, and the clueless "white guilt" supporters, the educational system, and the thinly disguised culture of really low expectations.

I really want to give him a chance in case Trump or Cruz go byebye but it’s one thing after another like that with him.

I don't think so. Maybe it is the progressive smear machine behind this, that remains to be seen, but fundamentally, we don't need a better educated Barack Obama Trojan candidate.

I agree with Carson on this. I’ve had a friend visit too many times and get stopped by police for me not to notice there is a difference. About 2/3rd of the time, he gets stopped.

Obviously, the “Black Lives Matter” and the other hate/murder groups like it are not what I’m talking about. But if we don’t acknowledge that being black in America is different than being white, then we might as well say there’s no difference between a deer and a moose.
