Exclusive: Ted Cruz's Warning To Donald Trump: "Policy Differences" Coming Soon
CBN ^ | October 22, 2015 | David Brody

Posted on 10/22/2015 6:49:14 PM PDT by Isara

In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Ted Cruz says he has a plan to begin highlighting, “policy differences” between him and Donald Trump. “There are plenty of policy differences and there may well come a time when we start highlighting those more,” Cruz tells The Brody File. “In a political campaign there are seasons and phases to it…as the race narrows down, as people start making choices, we may see some more policy contrasts.”

Cruz has been climbing in the polls and has the money to make a serious run at the nomination. He’s been courting evangelical voters since his announcement speech at Liberty University. The truth is this: Cruz needs Trump to fade to have a realistic shot. The Brody File contends that Trump’s biggest threat is not Jeb or Rubio. It’s Cruz. He’s going after many of the same voters as Trump and he has the credentials, intellect, debating skills and passion to really make a dent in Trump’s voter pool.

One other quote from Cruz during our interview:

“I think the sharpest difference between my record and that of every other candidate is that people are tired of campaign conservatives. They’re tired of people who talk a great game while they’re on the campaign trail but they actually haven’t walked the walk and I think people are looking for a consistent conservative.”

Offering up impossible ideas is not realistic policy.

Try again!

The winner of a war between our top anti-establishment conservative candidates will be the GOPe. Followed by Hillary.

Right. Building a wall, that’s like science fiction. It’s not like he’s talking about doing something easy like sending a man to the moon.

Has anyone heard the Trump prattle about he wants Indian , Chinese and other foreign grad students stay in the USA post-education and take American jobs, as it is currently so bad they can’t or don’t stay? This is indistinguishable from upping H1B visas. Let’s be intellectually honest and not flame Ted only. Examine Trump’s comments in debates and speeches. In one speech, his idea fell flat and the mostly blue collar crowd interestingly and noticeably sat on their hands....

Yes, let’s be intellictually honest. Tech PHDs from US Universities don’t take $25,000 H-1B drone jobs at Disney. We’ve got room in this country for PHD level smart people. It’s the third world’s dirt farmers and H-1B drones we don’t need.

Cruz supports the expansion of H1B visas (cheap labor express) and is funded by a handful of hedge fund managers.

Other than that, we know little about him. His website is very light on policy positions.

You just keep on stepping in it.

I’m not a Jew.

Where do you get such nonsense?

Ask any of the Jews here.

I am a full first century gospel follower of Yeshua, as he revealed himself in the gospels, and as John and Paul presented him.

So the critical question is, who will look better in a potential Trump-Cruz debate? That may make a critical difference just as it did in 1960.

**************

That’s pretty interesting. Let me see if I’ve got it right. If Donald Trump debates Kate Upton, Ms. Upton will be President?

If you add up the numbers for Bush, Rubio, Kasich, Pataki, Graham, Gilmore and FioRINO, it’s almost 30%.

If that coalesced behind a single candidate, he would be #1 in a lot of the polls. And given the leftist media scum’s desire for a sacrificial RINO, the media would pimp the RINO constantly as having “momentum.”

Would make whoever that would be (and imo it’s Rubio) a much more formidable opponent than what Trump has now.

I do not see Trump as a conservative.

Deeply graduated income tax, single payer health care, and one man top down governance is way left.

I have enjoyed the ruckus Trump created with his early remarks, but I also realize how far his sloganeering is from what can be done in the America that Mystery Babylon has given us.

Cruz will never be serious about the invasion because 1) he is Hispanic, 2) his campaign strategy is based on appealing to Hispanics, and 3) his billionaire paymasters would instantly cut off his funds were he to do so.

Exactly right. Trump and Cruz individually are smart enough not to harm each other and instead attack the RINO candidates.

Eventually though, whoever is #2 in this struggle needs to have the grace to drop out and support the other.

There is no other way.

The RINOs are prepared to burn the GOP to the ground to prevent it from being taken over by the “vulgarians.”

I support Trump and I wish I could do so w/o being constantly flamed by Cruz people who think I have no right to do so.

The Establishment plan is to use Carson and Cruz to pick off naive conservatives seeking a vanity candidate in order to defeat Trump.

Trump is not a conservative - the only naïve conservatives are those that support him. Kelo v. Connecticut, Planned Parenthood funding, 'universal' healthcare, praise for single payer systems, Obama's stimulus, TARP, etc. are not conservative positions, nor is lecturing "you conservatives" we're "just going to have to get used to it" when it comes to "taking care of everyone." Now, there is no perfect candidate, but all of those whoppers and more, collectively in one candidate, is certainly far from being a conservative.

Yes, let's be honest. There 250,000 foreign students a year who graduate. And includes Bachelors, Masters and PHDs.

Not this crap again.

Yes, I stand corrected. Voters should make decisions on feelings and by listening to all the irrational yelling of trolls and detractors. They should be persuaded by the size of crowds and how rich and famous a candidate is. We should never again have a campaign of reason, we exalt emotion, we should scorn principle for personality, we should never again dare show the messiah candidate in a less than perfect light. Facts and reason are obstacles to the coronation of the One, so they must be suppressed for the greater good. Every potential rival of the One must be denigrated and defamed without a serious hearing, because the purpose of their very candidacy is only to give the One a little preseason warm up. Do not ask the questions of policy, just trust that the One sent to us by the benevolent universe as our national savior will do what is right when the time is right, he is the one! Why Cruz should feel it a great honor if he were offered the opportunity to clean the windshield of the One's limousine with his diploma. The One is destiny, the One is our messiah! All hail the Donald - he is the One. Trump is the savior. All hail the Donald - he is the One!
