In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Ted Cruz says he has a plan to begin highlighting, policy differences between him and Donald Trump. There are plenty of policy differences and there may well come a time when we start highlighting those more, Cruz tells The Brody File. In a political campaign there are seasons and phases to it as the race narrows down, as people start making choices, we may see some more policy contrasts.
Cruz has been climbing in the polls and has the money to make a serious run at the nomination. Hes been courting evangelical voters since his announcement speech at Liberty University. The truth is this: Cruz needs Trump to fade to have a realistic shot. The Brody File contends that Trumps biggest threat is not Jeb or Rubio. Its Cruz. Hes going after many of the same voters as Trump and he has the credentials, intellect, debating skills and passion to really make a dent in Trumps voter pool.
One other quote from Cruz during our interview:
I think the sharpest difference between my record and that of every other candidate is that people are tired of campaign conservatives. Theyre tired of people who talk a great game while theyre on the campaign trail but they actually havent walked the walk and I think people are looking for a consistent conservative.
Watch the video at the link from CBN News/The Brody File.
The GOPe won’t help a president Cruz or Trump get their agenda done. No amount of good rhetoric will accomplish that.
You also deliberately misconstrued my original argument. I said that Cruz won’t deport the illegals. That means in the future he won’t do it, not that he is not currently enabling them.
He won’t give a straight answer on that and it’s quite clear:

Watch him squirm and dodge just like Rubio and the rest of them.
“Then we can have a conversation.” That’s exactly what Bush said.
Sorry to disappoint you but this is what Ted has said:
“As Ted Cruz wisely said, they dont belong here, they need to go back home and fight for their country.”
Go tell your union the truth .. and they can stop having to pay you guys to come here and just stir the pot.
Would you mind reminding us how much Trump contributed to Hilary's campaigns and to the Clinton Foundation?. Also would you mind enlightening us on Trumps previous left of center positions? You can keep you Trojan Horse of a candidate as far as I am concerned.
Cruz 2016
And they are more and more aggravated.
Here’s his answer:
“As Ted Cruz wisely said, they dont belong here, they need to go back home and fight for their country.”
He’s ugly. He dresses funny. And he’s about as engaging as the owner’s manual for my dishwasher. Plus, he’s seems to have an affinity for doing precisely the wrong thing, then trying to talk his way out of it.
And that ‘’constitution’’ he’s such an expert on was was written in 1639 & was rejected by the founding fathers.
Good luck, Felito. You’re gonna need it.
Tell me about it... “Who knows the mind of God, that he should be His counselor?”
We are blessed to have significant biblical revelation of the Lord’s general inclination and intent, such as “God is love.” So we can count on certain attitudes towards the Lord having certain ranges of outcomes.
But the proposition of knowing good and evil (on one’s own) is not only wrong, it is LUDICROUSLY wrong.
If Cruz will have an Achilles’ heel (apologies for the pagan connotation) it would be here. An attempt to do godly-styled things in the proud flesh and seeing it backfire, because the Lord is really stubborn about wanting people to let His love drive what they do in His name.
Trump, with his general bent to be kindly towards Christians but not claiming any special spiritual revelation, might actually end up being a channel of more blessings.
.
After witnessing the ‘92 presidential election, and the re-call election in California, it is clear as a well washed window.
Wealthy men tampering with elections has become a national pass time.
.
The fact that it titillates you is quite curious!
Nobody says Trump is expecting that. He can, however, beat down the ankle biters.
It is a problem. And if Trump is going to fix it, that certainly a plus for him. But, I’ll have to listen, because I’m just not as convinced as some.
I’m for Cruz. He’s principled and uncompromising; memorized the Constitution at 14. My opinion, Cruz will increase deportations, but he’ll do it without fanfare- just by enforcing the law. Just the opposite of what Obama did. In other words, he’ll do it under the radar— so as to avoid the inevitable opposition.
Don’t you people ever read anything ..??
It seems that all you guys do is just spew the union junk.
His wife left her job at Goldman Sachs because of her husband running for President.
Grow up.
Got you bristling again don’t he.
“Cruz has no special magic to implement policies no matter how consistent he is “
This is a major difference between Trump and Cruz. Trump has a network of people from which to assemble a team that will actually get things done. Take the Carl Icahn corporate inversion letter and PAC - Trumps is already rolling on what he whats done.

>> “Trump, with his general bent to be kindly towards Christians but not claiming any special spiritual revelation, might actually end up being a channel of more blessings.” <<
In a pig’s eye!
You sound just like the catholics praising Constantine for creating a “Christian” pagan holiday.
.
Cruz's rhetoric about a conversation is maddeningly insulting.
If Cruz cannot state in simple terms, at his various rallies, that the vast majority of illegals must be deported then he does not warrant support. On this issue, I find him more often than not using the rhetoric of beltway politicians.
If Cruz cannot see that American CITIZENS are red-hot angry over illegal immigration then he deserves to stay at the bottom.
I know you are so puh-roud to be a Jew. You don’t have to repeat it.
Tell Cyrus the Great “in a pigs eye” too while you are at it.
Um, she didn’t leave GS, she is on leave of absence, which means technically, she’s still employed. So, I suggest that YOU grow up.
